🐾 Need a little Monday morning smile? Meet Buddha! 🐾

We know the Monday struggle is REAL… but Buddha is here to help fix that! 😍

Buddha is a 7 month old Great Dane mix who is already destined to be one BIG boy! Right now, though, he’s 100% puppy! Playful, goofy, curious, and so much fun to spend time with. ❤️

He gets along well with other dogs and is always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s playtime, exploring, or simply hanging out with his people, Buddha is ready to make your day a little brighter. 🐶

Could Buddha be the reason your Mondays start looking a whole lot better? 🥰

How can you resist these precious eyes and speckled pink nose? 🥹

And let’s not forget about the floppy hound ears! This girl is absolutely precious! Meet, Remi! Remi is 4 months old and was just returned yesterday because the resident pup in the home wasn’t a fan of hers. 😅

Remi has the traits of a goofy hound puppy, so if you like ears flopping around while her nose is to the ground, this girl could be for you!

Her previous owner states she’s good with dogs, cats and kids. Sounds like the perfect family dog if you ask us! 💕

Last week, our Humane Officers responded to a call about a frantic dog running along I-77. That dog was Angelica. We later heard from someone who said they witnessed her being thrown from a car, but unfortunately, we have no way to verify that part of her story.

What we do know is that somehow, this incredibly sweet, happy girl ended up abandoned and on her own. And while we may never know exactly what Angelica has been through, we know what she deserves from here on out…a second chance. ❤️

Angelica is just one year old and 51 pounds, and she has already stolen the hearts of everyone here. Life may have been rough before she arrived, but you’d never know it by watching her now. She’s nothing but a happy, full of life wiggle butt who loves playing with other dogs! 🐶💗

She’s ready to leave her past behind and start the life she should have had all along. A life filled with love, safety, belly rubs, playtime, and a family of her own.

Sandman is stopping by your feed to remind you that today is Doggie Day Out at HSOP! It’s a bit gloomy today, so why not cheer yourself up with some slobbery kisses from a shelter pup! 🐶

Sandman and his pals will be here waiting from 12-3pm for a great day out of the shelter!

Sandman is also available for adoption, so who knows, maybe he’ll steal your heart for the long haul.👀

Sandman is two years old and weighs 66 pounds. Although he can be a bit of a shy boy at first, he’s a lover and gets along well with other dogs. 💕
