Please join us in welcoming Dr. Amber Daub to Hess Ridge Animal Hospital!

Dr. Daub brings more than 13 years of veterinary experience to Hess Ridge, having spent her career at a local hospital where she also served as Medical Director. She brings a tremendous amount of experience, knowledge, and compassion to our team, and we think she is going to be a wonderful fit for the kind of medicine and client relationships we value at Hess Ridge.

Dr. Daub will be seeing appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and we’re especially excited about what her addition means for our clients.

Hess Ridge has grown tremendously over the past two and a half years, and we know that growth has sometimes made it harder to get an appointment as quickly as you—or we—would like. We’ve heard you, and improving access to care has been one of our biggest priorities.

Adding another experienced veterinarian to our team will significantly expand our availability and help us provide more of the same- and next-day access we’ve always wanted Hess Ridge to be known for—without compromising the quality of our medicine or the time and attention we give each patient.

Dr. Daub’s arrival is just one of several exciting things happening at Hess Ridge. We have more good news to share soon as we continue growing thoughtfully and finding ways to better serve our patients and community while remaining the personal, locally owned hospital you know.

We can’t wait for you to meet her. Welcome to Hess Ridge, Dr. Daub!

Meet Yuta!

This 19-week-old Maine C**n kitten is growing way too fast, so we have to get all the cuddles in while we can! This guy is such a blast and has already stolen our hearts.

Maine C**ns are known as gentle giants, growing into one of the largest domestic cat breeds. They’re also known for their fluffy coats, big tufted ears, long tails, and playful, social personalities. Yuta is already showing off that fun Maine C**n personality, and we can’t wait to watch him grow!

This adorable 10-week-old Newfoundland came in for his very first puppy visit with us, and he did such a great job!

Meet Valkyrie!

This adorable 10-week-old German Shepherd came to see us, and it’s safe to say she stole everyone’s hearts. Sweet, curious, and full of puppy charm, she made quite the impression on our team.

We can’t wait to watch this beautiful girl grow and be a part of her journey as she grows into an amazing dog. Here’s to many happy, healthy visits ahead!

Meet Vivi!

This sweet little black kitten came in for her very first vaccines, and we loved getting to meet her during this important milestone!

Kitten visits are an important part of setting the foundation for a lifetime of good health. Early exams and vaccinations help protect kittens from preventable diseases, allow us to monitor their growth and development, and give us the opportunity to answer questions about nutrition, behavior, parasite prevention, and everything that comes with caring for a new kitten.

We’re so excited to watch Vivi grow into a happy, healthy cat and be part of her journey!

If you’ve welcomed a new kitten or your pet is due for an exam or vaccines, give us a call or get booked online—link in bio!

Meet Kaladin!

This handsome pup came in after an unfortunate run-in with a porcupine, leaving him with over 60 quills in his face. After a quick sedation, our team carefully removed every quill, and we’re happy to say he’s feeling better than ever.

Porcupine quills can be very painful and, if left untreated, can migrate deeper into the body and lead to more serious complications. If your pet ever has an encounter like this, it’s important to have them evaluated as soon as possible and avoid trying to remove all of the quills at home.

We’re so glad Kaladin is back to feeling like himself!
