Yesterday’s MRC $1500 Added Hunter Derby sponsored by Rocky Mountain Equine Rehab featured mother daughter duo Andrea Van Meenen riding Christen Tuxworth’s Capistrano Z, and Wilhelmina riding Mary Caroline Logan’s Figaro V taking second and third, respectively. Rumor had it Wilhelmina may have been grounded if she beat her mom. Not yet Wilhelmina, not yet, but soon. 😉

Grace you are true gem! We are so lucky to have this western girl on our team. She was raised in a barn and knows the meaning of hard work. Her passion for the horses is undeniable. She always shows up with a smile. Thank you Grace for your compassion, perseverance and grit. 💪👏

Grandpa Gary Bob teaching Baby Ruby how to be an amazing horse like him. 💙🩷🐴

This year has been very stressful and hard with Gary’s colic surgery and his recovery. Seeing the these two side by side enjoying fresh pasture grass on this beautiful morning makes my heart happy. There were a lot of days I didn’t think I’d ever get to see this. 🥰

Thank you to Rocky Mountain Equine Rehab for sponsoring the $1500 Added Summer's End Hunter Derby. This Derby features fence height at 2'6 with 2'9 options and 3' with 3'3 options. Ribbons to 10th place.

To be eligible horses must compete in a least one other over fences class on Saturday or Sunday in any 2'6 or higher hunter/equitation division or .75M or higher jumper division.

SUCCESS!!! 🥳🎉🍾
This story melts all of our hearts and makes us remember why we do this every day! Freddie was a post op colectomy. This was a major surgery and we all were cautiously optimistic about his survival. NOW, we are all so thrilled to finally watch him go down center line! This is true success story RMER will never forget! Katie, we are so happy for you and so proud of your hard work and dedication.
