ATK9 2026 is a wrap and blessed is an understatement. Thanks to every working dog team that came out and gave us every ounce of effort they had to get better every day. Thank you to Ray Allen Manufacturing for setting us up with the best push pillows we could have asked for. Thanks to lockedonk9llc and Matthew Leo for all their hard work and knowledge they empowered on all our students and then some. Thanks to Ben Rader for quite literally being the reason we are all there teaching and being the glue that holds us together, you couldn’t make it this year but we have many years to come. Thanks to Chloe / Kaya / Charlie / Zara / Echo for the badass photography all week you absolutely killed it and we are so happy we get the opportunity to have you come and capture these moments for us. This year was one to be remembered and I can’t wait for 2027. Get out there and train!

I love what I do and no matter what I will always strive to impact someone’s life in a positive way. Attending the ATK9 conference for my fourth year in a row and I am truly grateful for the opportunity. Even though my mentor and good friend Ben Rader couldn’t be with us we made it happen with PACKED classes every day and lockedonk9llc and Matthew Leo there crushing it everyday. This job comes with an inherent responsibility to better yourself everyday. While I hope I helped just 1 of my students to be better enough to survive and save someone’s life today I know for a fact they have each and individually taught me much more than they realize. Tomorrow is the last day of the best working dog conference in the world and I can’t wait till the sun goes up and I can train with some of the most professional people in the world.
