When I pair two dogs together I put a lot of thought into the why and always plan that I will likely keep something to carry my program forward. Sometimes I get great homes that want to show. It all sounds like a great mission but sometimes it just doesnāt play out. I canāt always count on that becoming a reality for someone else. So I go into it thinking something will stay. I already introduced Hiccup. He is everything I hoped would come out of pairing Jinx to Evie, and if you have followed me for very long you know I LOVE my boys. I often say if I didnāt love having puppies so much I would just have boys. It was clear that Hiccup wasnāt going anywhere from fairly early on. He reminds me so much of his grandpa Adam, with his brother āMoonā who I just adored as a puppy. So in my head it was clear he was staying. Then there was this puppy. She too said Iām staying, no questions she knew she was home to stay. She is quite literally her mom with all the attributes I had hoped her dad would add if Im being picky. A little more substance, coat and height as Evie is right at standard. Im excited to show her to the fancy when the time is right.
We are looking forward to her future and spring, as Mother Nature throws more snow our way.
