Summer is just around the corner! ☀️ Being outside with our pups more means they are more likely to come into contact with fleas and ticks 😱

We are currently having a ⭐️SALE⭐️ on bundling Credelio for dogs! 🐶

While supplies last, if you buy 5 months of Credelio doses, you will receive your sixth month ⭐️FREE⭐️!

Credelio for dogs is a once-a-month chewable tablet that is tough on fleas & ticks. Prevention is the best step we can take for our pets to fight against fleas and ticks. A flea or tick infestation can lead to skin irritation or allergies, parasites like tapeworms and tick-borne diseases like Lyme disease.

Millie earned a medal of bravery yesterday! 🏅🐾

She came in to see us for an entropion eye surgery and an umbilical hernia repair, and was such a sweet little lady all day long ❤️

Millie is just one example of too many to count of why we love our community and their pets! 🐾

Please join us in celebrating past and current working military dogs this K9 Veterans Day! 🐾🇺🇸

After the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, a coalition called Dogs for Defense (DFD) made efforts to have the US Army begin training dogs for military use. K9 Veteran’s Day commemorates the date in 1942 when the US Army began a program for this purpose, known as the “K9 Corps”. Many of the first military working dogs were donated from American families to serve in the Army as sentry dogs.

Initially, the DFD coalition worked to procure, house and train dogs for the K9 Corps, but efforts were transferred to the Remount Branch of the Quartermaster Corps (QMC) after July 16, 1942. Within its first year of efforts, the QMC trained more than 1,800 working dog teams to patrol Us coastlines for potential German or Japanese submarine units.

Since WWII, all branches of the US military employ working K9s to assist their human counterparts. Working military K9s perform various duties that have included sentry operations, tactical patrols, mine detection, messengers and scout patrols.

US Working Military Dogs continuously adapt and learn new skills to provide essential support to our troops all over the world.

We encourage you to spend some time today remembering these warriors and their sacrifices, as well as the support they have provided to our military and the lives they have helped save! 🇺🇸🐾
