Call me superstitious, but I’ve been keeping a bit of a secret. I’ve almost been afraid to say it out loud. While we’ve officially retired from any large scale breeding and chasing ribbons, I really miss having youngsters around and I really miss showing the in hand stuff. I’ve always thought it was a shame that I never kept a Kurtaxe (Lordanos/Landor S) baby for myself, and at 19, the clock is ticking. Likewise, Amaryssa (Private Vow/Sir Cat) has a long history of successful offspring but has had a few years off. After a uterine treatment, Kurtaxe took immediately, but Amy (Amaryssa), seemed to want to stay retired. After finally identifying and treating the pathogen, she also took. I could barely look at the screen at the 30 day heartbeat appointments. ❤️❤️❤️
Amaryssa and Kurtaxe are both in foal to the incredible black stallion, Black Tie.
Special thank you to Kathy StMartin who stands him for all of your help and especially for Zach Logan DVM who didn’t give up.
