Misfit K9 Fall Apparel is here !🐾🍂

For those who may not know, Misfit K9 started because of one very special dog , Apollo.

Apollo was the inspiration behind the logo, the heart behind Misfit K9, and the reason this mission became what it is today. What started with one dog grew into a promise to keep showing up for the dogs who are misunderstood, overlooked, struggling, or simply need someone willing to give them another chance.

So when you wear Misfit K9 apparel, you’re not just supporting my business. You’re helping me continue something that started with one very special dog and has grown into a mission to give so many others the chance they deserve.

A reminder that sometimes the dogs who need us the most are the ones who teach us the most. 🐾

(You can also still purchase apparel with our standard logo as well!) link for all apparel is below or in our bio

Meet Wujoy, a 4.5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who made his way all the way from Hong Kong and is now searching for something pretty special, a forever home to call his own. 🏡

While Wujoy waits for the right person to find him, he’ll be spending some time with Misfit K9 so we can get to know him, continue building his training, and help set him up for success in his future home.

Every dog deserves the opportunity to be understood, supported, and given a real chance , no matter where their story began. And Wujoy’s story has already taken him thousands of miles. Now we’re hoping the next part of his journey leads him exactly where he belongs. 🖤

For now, he has a place with us, a team behind him, and an entire Misfit family rooting for his second chance. If you or anyone you know may be interested in being Wujoy’s forever , please reach out!

Welcome to the Misfit crew, Wujoy. Let’s find you your forever home. 🐾

New park, new distractions, new opportunities to learn. 🐾🌳

Bart, Moby & Bodhi headed out for another field trip, this time working on neutrality in a brand-new environment around unfamiliar people, dogs, sights, sounds, and all the distractions that come with exploring a busy park.

For these guys, outings like this aren’t about interacting with everyone they see. They’re about learning how to exist calmly in the world while noticing people and dogs without feeling the need to engage, react, or become overwhelmed.

We worked on engagement, settling, passing distractions, giving each dog the space they needed, and making good choices along the way.

And the best part? These three rescue boys are all available for adoption and looking for homes of their own. 🤍

They’ve each been putting in the work and making progress, and we’re continuing to give them opportunities to experience the real world so they can build the skills and confidence they’ll need beyond training.

Different dogs. Different challenges. Same goal: helping each one become the best version of themselves while they wait for their person.

Interested in Bart, Moby, or Bodhi? Reach out to us or Peace4Paws to learn more about them and see if one of these sweet boys might be the right fit for you. 🏡🐾

Welcome Teddy & Chandler to the Misfit K9 Family!

Two puppies, two very different personalities, and two completely different training journeys. 🖤🐾

Teddy is joining us for some extra support as he works through a few behavioral challenges while continuing to build confidence, trust, and better ways to navigate the world around him.

Chandler is here to get a head start on all the important puppy things, building solid foundations, learning good habits, gaining confidence, and setting him up for success as he grows.

One of our favorite things about training is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every puppy in front of us is an individual, and their training should reflect exactly what they need.

We’re excited to see what’s ahead for these two little Misfits. 🐶🐶🖤

Welcome to Misfit K9, Teddy & Chandler!

4th of July celebrations and fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be overwhelming and scary for our dogs!

Please be extra mindful of the heat, yummy holiday foods, and loud booms tomorrow. And I promise, your dog does not care about seeing the fireworks and would much rather be safe at home.

Make sure collars and ID tags are secure, take your dogs outside on a leash, even in fenced-in yards and let them out before the fireworks start. Keep a close eye on all those tempting holiday foods too!

The 4th of July is one of the biggest times of year for dogs to go missing. Let’s keep everyone safe, happy, and healthy this holiday! ❤️🤍💙🐾

Welcome Moby & Bodhi to the Misfit K9 family! 🐾💙

These two handsome boys have started their training journey with us, and we couldn’t be more excited to help them prepare for their forever homes.

Like so many rescue dogs, Moby and Bodhi have had their own unique experiences that have shaped who they are today. Our goal isn’t to change who they are, it’s to help them build confidence, learn new skills, and give them the tools they need to thrive in their future families.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be working on obedience, confidence building, proper outlets, and the life skills that will set them up for long-term success. Every dog deserves the opportunity to be understood, and we’re honored to be part of their journey.

Follow along as we share their progress, celebrate their wins, and help them take one step closer to finding the loving homes they deserve. ❤️

If you’d be interested in fostering either of these amazing boys, please reach out to either myself or ! They both need to be the ONLY dog in the home, with experienced fosters/adopters that are willing to continue working with us!

We’re excited to welcome not one, not two, but three new pups to Misfit K9! 🐾

Meet Bear 🐻, Blue 💙, and Butter 🧈, three lucky dogs from the same family who are joining us to work on their training journey together. One of our main goals will be helping them learn how to successfully live together as a balanced, respectful household, while still meeting their individual needs.

Training multiple dogs in the same home can be challenging, but with consistency and the right guidance, it can make the world of difference. We can’t wait to help these sweet boys become the best versions of themselves and create a more harmonious home for everyone.

Welcome to the Misfit K9 family boys! 🧡💙💛
