Celebrating Our Doctors! ❤️🐾

Today, as part of Staff Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating our incredible doctors who dedicate their lives to caring for animals and the families who love them.

Being a veterinarian is so much more than diagnosing illnesses and providing treatment. It takes compassion, patience, dedication, and a genuine love for animals. From celebrating milestones and helping pets through challenging diagnoses to being there for families during some of their most difficult moments, our doctors make a lasting difference every day. Their commitment to providing exceptional care and advocating for every patient is at the heart of what they do.

As National Veterinary Technician Week is coming to a close, we also want to recognize the amazing technicians who work alongside our doctors. From assisting with procedures and monitoring patients to providing comfort and hands-on care, their knowledge, dedication, and compassion are essential to the care we provide.

From Cardiology, Dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care to Exotics, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Nutrition, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery, our specialty services teams work together to provide advanced, specialized care for the patients who need it most.

Staff Appreciation Week is all about recognizing the incredible people who make Oradell Animal Hospital what it is, including our amazing teams at our Hasbrouck Heights and Fort Lee locations! No matter which location they work in, our team shares the same commitment to providing exceptional care to pets and their families.

Our satellite clinics provide primary veterinary care, wellness visits, preventive medicine, and routine services to help pets stay healthy at every stage of life. Through their hard work, compassion, and dedication, these teams build lasting relationships with clients and play an important role in caring for our community.

Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾❤️

This week, we’re celebrating our entire nursing department, including our veterinary technicians, assistants, liaisons, ward aides, patient care coordinators, pod techs, and ERPAs across all departments.

From admission to discharge, our nursing team is there for our patients through every step of their journey. They’re the ones monitoring the smallest changes, anticipating what a patient needs, carrying out critical treatments, comforting frightened animals, and making sure no detail goes unnoticed. They bring together knowledge, technical skill, quick thinking, and compassion in ways that make an incredible difference in the care our patients receive.

But nursing is about so much more than the tasks they perform. It’s about the extra time spent making a patient comfortable, the patience shown during a difficult moment, the attention given when something doesn’t seem quite right, and the commitment to advocating for patients who can’t tell us what they need. It’s the teamwork behind every successful treatment and the compassion that continues long after a busy shift.

To our entire nursing team, please know how much you are valued. The work you do matters, the skills you bring are essential, and the care you provide does not go unnoticed. Thank you for the countless ways you show up for our patients, support their families, and support one another.

Warrior Wednesday: Sailor 💜

Sailor is a two-time chemo graduate! 🎓🎓🥹 Sailor was first diagnosed with lymphoma in May 2025 and completed her CHOP protocol in December 2025. After coming out of remission in May 2026, she bravely started treatment all over again — and now, she officially finished her second, modified chemotherapy protocol! 🎉

Through it all, Sailor has been the absolute sweetest patient. She LOVES coming in to see all of her oncology friends, always rolls over for belly rubs, and is an absolute angel for her treatments.

We are so incredibly proud of her and couldn't be happier to celebrate graduation #2! Keep being the amazing warrior you are, Sailor! 🥰🎓💜

We met some cutie paws over the weekend! 🐾❤️ We had a great time at Paws in the Park on Saturday and loved meeting all the adorable pups who stopped by our booth.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted for Oradell Animal Hospital for Best Veterinary Center in Bergen County for 2026! We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition and so appreciative of the community that continues to support and trust our team.

We also had the opportunity to celebrate at the Best of Bergen W**e & Food Experience last month. It was a wonderful evening, and we loved meeting so many of you who came out to celebrate with us!
