Feather gets a whole round bale to herself as her abscess heals inside where it's dry. This horse eats so much and doesn't gain a pound.

Sara came to work with Cash yesterday. He hasn't been saddled in months and didn't forget anything. He's such a great horse.

I like the look of the older style of reining horse. I don't like them now with such an unnatural headset. Just my opinion.

Feather gave us a scare over the last 8 days. She started limping really badly so we hauled her to the vet last week. She of course looked better that day. We brought her home and she started limping really bad again. Like almost 3 legged. We called the vet out again, took her shoe off, took X-rays and walked her. The vet lifted her foot to hoof test her again and she popped open an abscess. Oh I'm so happy! She looks like she is going to be fine. We are soaking her foot for a couple days and she should be able to get her shoe back on and go back to work. Horses are great at scaring the s**t out of people! 😂
Thank you Silt vet clinic for taking good care to figure out this problem. We sure appreciate you guys!!

Shane and I were doctoring calves this morning. Great weather with lots of sunshine makes working outside so nice! I love this time of year! We are really loving our new waxed cotton ranch ropes we purchased from Craig Carr owner of Sun dawg custom leather.
