🎉 Big News for Purple Moon Aquatics! 🎉
I am beyond excited to announce that Purple Moon Aquatics has officially hired its very first employee! And what makes this even more special is that our first employee is none other than my daughter, Zuri! 💜
Zuri is 14, and while this isn't her first job, I couldn't be more proud to have her as our very first employee!
Now, as her dad, I firmly believe that one of my most important responsibilities in life is to embarrass her every chance I get. 😂 However, I've already been warned that if I embarrass her, she'll quit. So apparently, I'm already walking a fine line as her new boss! I even tried getting her to take a picture with me for this announcement, but all I got was a very disgusted "Gross!" 🤣
Over the years, I've always tried to share my love of fish and aquariums with all my kids. Maybe working here will help spark that interest in her again, and hopefully, this will become something she genuinely enjoys rather than just another job.
But the part that means the most to me? Not only am I getting some much-needed help around the store, but I'm also getting something far more valuable: more time with my daughter. 💜
To me, that's what winning looks like.
I don't think she has any idea just how happy she made this old man when she asked me for a job. One day, she'll understand that it was never really about having an employee. It was about getting to spend a little more time together, making memories, and sharing something I've worked so hard to build.
So please help me give Zuri a big, warm welcome to the Purple Moon Aquatics community! 🐠💜
And when you see her, PLEASE make sure to tell her just how much she looks like her dad! Trust me, it's her absolute FAVORITE thing to hear! 😂🤣
