A few frequently asked questions that we get:
What is your price?
Our prices are case by case basis. We use competitive local pricing by breed standard as our base. Your pets pricing is based on size, coat condition, and behavior.
Your best friend's Golden may not be the same price as yours as no two pets are the same. While we don't post our prices- as they can vary greatly- we are happy to answer any questions to help get a more exact price quote for you prior to an appointment with us.
Why does it cost more for my pet to get groomed than my own hair cut?
If your stylist did everything for you that we as pet stylist do, it likely would actually be much more costly than your pet's.
What is a one on one grooming experience?
This means that we strive for your pet to be the only pet (family pets) that we take in an appointment slot. There is little to no overlap of appointment times and your pet(s) will have minimal time sitting in a kennel. We strive to NOT use any kennel dry methods- and will have hands on your pet(s) at all times.
Other salons call this an express groom and will add costly add on charges for this experience. One on one grooming is a much more healthy experience for your pet and will help reduce their anxiety for the process.
How long have you been grooming?
Kayla and Allie have both been grooming for over 20 years. We both graduated with a certificate in Small Animal Science and scored well on the NOTCI exam prior to graduating. Both of us have worked extensively in rescue, animal welfare organizations, and veterinary offices. We continue to further our education and trade while keeping up with ever changing industry standards. Grooming and pet care is our passion and we pass it on to our customers and community 🐾
Do you sponsor other local organizations/groups?
Yes! We focus on youth sports and activities in the community as well as many animal care/rescue groups!
Look for us at Andrew's dirt track Hammerdown Motor Sports Modified Car, at the Chautauqua County Fair's 4H Hog Barns, French Creek Homeschool, and many more! See us on a banner or flyer? Take a selfie- post it on social media (public) and tag us in it for 25% off your next service!
We do not actively pay for advertising, word of mouth and giving back to the community that supports us, means so so so much more than any billboard we could put up!
We are happy to give tours of the salon, and do meet and greets prior to any appointment.
