Because I have been asked by several people Nola’s Angels and Horse Rescue is Full Full! We have 12 horses and no empty stalls.
Also we do not buy horses! We raise bail for horses at a kill lot or pen. We except own surrender when we have available space. Owner surrenders must have coggins( out of state coggins and CVI). $300 fee per horse to surrender.
Horses are expensive animals and require allot of care. If I can’t take your animal there is a reason. I abide by the law and my permits.
Be an active member at a rescue instead of buying a horse trust me they need you more. Yes I have a big heart but threatening me doesn’t get you anywhere. I simply can’t take the horse. Someone has to feed it, pay the vet bills and put a roof over its head. Lately when I did have a stall one person never replied back so the stall was filled. Now wants me to take it and I can’t. These horses here make money by sponsorships, donations, riding lessons and paid jobs to give rides. These funds pay for their hay, feed and hooves done. I simply can’t take money out of my pocket to feed a horse because someone wants it to be here.
If your horse is having health issues and can’t live a good life don’t send it of please do that last act of kindness by putting it down.
