The Basenji is our Breed of the week! This breed may be the world’s oldest dog. There are cave paintings of this breed in Libya that dates back to 6000 BC. The basenji is also the only bark less dog due the unique shape of their larynx. The only sound they produce sounds like a yodel. They were bred for hunting as they are fierce and quite aloof.
