The Vetting Zoo is a 3,000 square foot full-­service animal hospital located in the Palmyra/Campbelltown PA area. We are dedicated to providing the best possible patient care at a reasonable cost, educating clients with the most recent research and findings, as well as giving back to the community through animal advocacy and rescue programs.

Good Morning Zoo Followers! Here is the schedule for our low cost vaccine clinics for the month of June. Please read the entire event for important details!

ATTENTION: We are now starting at 8am through August to better handle the higher temperatures during the summer. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE TVZ/PALMYRA CLINIC!

Our lot holds roughly 100+ vehicles. Please be prepared as some vehicles have multiple pets per vehicle. We have restrooms inside, Gunner's Crusade offers food service at our office location and even comes to your vehicle! **UNTIL SOLD OUT** 100% of food sales support Gunner’s Crusade (501c3 non profit) with helping first responders and fire victims.

**Curbside - Follow parking attendants, you only need to leave your vehicle to register**

Canine
Rabies: 12+ weeks, Distemper: 6+ weeks, Bordetella: 8+ weeks, Lepto: 9+ weeks, Lyme: 9+ weeks, Influenza: 8+ weeks.
Feline
Rabies: 12+ weeks, FVRCP: 6+ weeks, FeLV: 8+ weeks.

Our clinics are open to all Pennsylvania residents. No appointment needed. First come, first served. We don't go in any numerical order, orders are pulled based on many factors. Please be patient, we will get to you!

*You can purchase up to 12 months worth of flea/tick prevention all at one visit!* (Pets need to be present if you never attended before or it's been over 11 months since your pet was last at our clinic for flea/tick prevention which included the P.E.)
**PLEASE NOTE: Per practice law (unless you are current clients of TVZ), your animal needs to be present to purchase flea/tick and dewormer**

The rain didn't stop us today! We are a little damp and muddy, but the volunteers showed up.to provide vet care for over 100 animals. Hey all! Gunner's Crusade is looking for some baked goods for Saturday's low cost vaccine clinic. We can use anything, from rice krispie treats to cookies to brownies. Thank you in advance if you can help out. Anything we do not sell, we will sell during the week inside TVZ!

Ok Zoo Followers....we are shouting out loud.....we want you all to join us in following one of the best rescues in Central PA: Rowquin Rescue. We have MAD respect for the work they do.

They do not take only the high profile stories, the high profile animals....they don't take in the ones that will bring in the most money (yes, some others out there do that!)....THEY HELP THE DOGS THAT NEED IT MOST. They do not farm in dogs from OTHER STATES. THEY HELP THOSE THAT NEED HELP RIGHT HERE IN CENTRAL PA.

Fortunately for the dogs, they get the help they need. Unfortunately for the rescue trying to help them, they can cost a lot of money.

We at TVZ do what we can to provide Rescue Services to them, to enable them to help as many dogs as they can, regardless of their situation.

But here is where we need your help--please follow them, and please consider supporting them--whether it is through sharing their posts, and helping get their pups adopted ... Or attending their fundraising events (the TVZ crew will be at their bingo event again--come hang with the Zoo Crew!)....Or, by donating a few bucks here and there, a few bags of dog food, some dog treats.....anything helps! If you are interested in helping by donating treats or food, you may drop it off at The Vetting Zoo, and we will ensure it will get to them. If you would like to donate any funds to them, and apply it to their veterinary care, you may also do so by calling in (Credit Card) or stopping by (Cash or Check). We will make sure they know who exactly donated (as long as you want them to know!)

We know we have a huge following and we know how you all feel about helping others....you all always support all our endeavors--Rowquin Rescue is another one.....and so please, at the very least, head on over to their page and give them a Like and Follow!!!!

Morning Zoo Followers!

We have moved May, June, July and August's low cost monthly clinics start times to 8am at our office.

Steelton Community Cats clinics are NOT changing start times.

We ask that you like and follow us - so that you get notified of any changes to the clinics as circumstances change which affect our start times and on a daily basis!

Please check our page the week of for any changes which are based on a multitude of variables, we will post no later than Friday morning before a clinic.

Our lot holds roughly 100+ vehicles. Please be prepared as some vehicles have multiple pets per vehicle. If your pets are getting restless, feel free to get them out of the vehicle, controlled on a leash and wander If your pet needs to do #2, please clean up after and a #2 green bin is located down on our parking lot near the edge of the lot by the garage doors!

We can always use dedicated volunteers. We have many positions that haven't taken vacations in over 10 years. Please call our office during business hours Monday-Thursday 7am-9pm and Friday-7am-7pm at 717-343-3815 or email us [email protected] SUBJECT- "Clinic Volunteer" with your contact info. The very bottom has all the information helpful to include when dropping off information to best place you!

You are welcome to stop in our office and drop your info on a printed or hand written on paper. We have some hectic work weeks, you might get lucky and we might have a few minutes to chat, or we will call you or schedule for you to come in.

Hello TVZ followers!!

In the past when we have purchased t-shirts for the awesome TVZ staff, we have received so many great compliments on the shirts and many people that would love one SO we made sure that we purchased a few extras this time around! It is first come, first serve.

Zeek says Peek a Boo! Zeek came in to say Hi today to get checked out for a small wound on his neck. Zeek says You should see the other guy! :) turns out he will be just fine with some medicine!!

He enjoyed the butt scritches, as well. They were free.
