Good morning all, yesterday was 7 days past my shoulder surgery. Healing is good but slow as expected. I hope to be back in the shop in a month or so. This was a necessary evil to try to get back to a more mobile arm for doing this work. So, have patience, I'll get to those ducks ASAP. I'll be at the VTA Convention on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there.

February 16, my freezers are now full. I cannot take anymore birds. As I have said in past posts, I am trying to phase out my business. I took in more ducks than I really wanted to. So now the turnaround time is probably 15 to 18 months out. I know that most of the "duck" guys are full now. It's amazing to me that there are sooo many hunters that still want ducks mounted. Supply and demand!! Thank you for your business. 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

With duck season back in again, I need to remind everyone that I'm not taking on new customers anymore. I am winding down my business because it takes a year or more to get through the inventory. I will take ducks from my current customers, but this will most likely be my last season. I've been mounting birds for over 55 years. It's time for me to retire. Sorry folks. Thank you to all for your loyalty to my work. I still enjoy the conversations and making people happy. 🦆🦆😄

Just an update for All Quacked Up Taxidermy customers. Some of you already know I've had some physical problems and a couple surgeries since moving to my new residence at Lake Monticello, Palmyra 4 years ago. I have struggled through and kept the business going as much as possible. With a lot things considered I have decided to back off on taking on NEW CUSTOMERS this hunting season. I'm still almost a year behind but catching up some with my turnaround time. I will take birds from my CURRENT customers at least through this waterfowl season but this may be the last season for me. With new birds coming this season, it will carry me through my 70th birthday next October. I will reevaluate my situation at that time. Thank you all for your business and your patience while waiting for your birds.

Unfortunately with supply prices increasing again, I am increasing my prices as well. Here are few items from my new price list:

Puddle and Diver Ducks - $430
Eider, Common Merg- $550
Canada Goose - $750
Snow/White-fronted Geese - $650
Pheasant - $430
