I always joke with people that they're not paying for me to board their bunnies, they are paying for all the cleaning in between boarders!

I should add that to be effective against e cuniculi you need to keep the high heat on the object for at least a minute, preferably five.

We also do not ever knowingly board sick bunnies or bunnies with visible signs of illness like sneezing, nasal discharge, lethargy, etc.

*Can bunnies and dogs actually get along?* 🐰 🐶

Yes! We have had bunnies for 17 years. We have also had at least one dog since 2019. The bunnies were here first and their safety is our utmost priority, so when we were looking to add a dog to our family, we started fostering for an amazing organization called Senior Dog Haven & Hospice. We were very upfront with them about our rabbits and our desire to only foster "bunny-safe" dogs. They were amazing, and helped us find the perfect pups for our home.

Through them, we have had 19 dogs live with us as temporary fosters or permanent "foster wins" (not fails ☺️). We have never had a single safety incident, although we did once have a trial dog who was a little too interested in the bunnies when we brought him home, so he went to another foster's house for safety.

Adopting a senior allows you to have a good sense of their personality, which is usually pretty well set by that age. They don't have the same energy levels as puppies (which bunnies appreciate), but you can still find one who likes to go on walks, play, and has a lot of life left!

Because they are seniors, they are sadly not with us as long as we would like, but we love having the opportunity to give these often overlooked pups a second chance at life.

Neither Lulu (bunny) nor Squiggy are allowed in the bunny boarding area. Lulu would get jealous as she thinks she is the only bunny in the world, and we don't want the more sensitive buns to be nervous if they aren't used to dog smells.
