For some pets diagnosed with cancer, surgery may be part of the treatment plan.

When it is, collaboration between oncology and advanced surgery can help determine what options are appropriate for that individual patient.

At Tier 1 Vet, Dr. Jesse Terry, DACVS, performs advanced surgical procedures, including complex soft tissue surgeries, while working alongside the veterinary team involved in each patient's care.

If your pet has been diagnosed with cancer and surgery is recommended, talk with your veterinarian about a referral to Tier 1.

🐾 What a way to kick off our very first Fast & Furriest 5K/10K! 🏃‍♀️🐕

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at the Palmer Depot for our inaugural race! From the runners and walkers to the four-legged participants who brought plenty of personality to the course, you helped make our first Fast & Furriest a success!

We had a great fall day for running, lots of wagging tails, and so much wonderful support from our community.

An emergency patient with feathers. 🦆💙

Nadia's duck came to Tier 1 Vet after becoming egg bound, a potentially serious condition that needed veterinary care when attempts to help her at home weren't working.

We're glad our team could be there when she needed us, and even happier to hear what having that care available meant to her family.

Thank you, Nadia, for trusting us with your girl and for taking the time to share your experience.

Today’s the day! 🐕🏃🐾

The first Fast & Furriest 5K/10K & Dog Expo is happening today at the Palmer Depot.

Registered participants can check in and pick up bibs from 9:00–10:45 AM. Then it’s time to run, walk, wag and see what our inaugural Fast & Furriest can do.

The Dog Expo will also be happening around race headquarters. Fast & Furriest coincides with the Frost Fest Winter Expo at the Palmer Depot.

To everyone joining us today: have fun out there.

And to the dogs: we know who the real athletes are. 😄🐾
