We are excited to share the news: Dr Baird has been invited to join the 2026 Xpertise International Scientific Committee meeting in Spain!!

The topic this year is focused on the role muscle plays in the management of osteoarthritis. This is a small group series of meetings, workshops and discussions to share ideas and clinical insights with experts from around the world. The Xpertise Scientific Committee regularly publishes consensus recommendations for assessing and managing canine and feline osteoarthritis that are published by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) in their Pain Management Guidelines. We are so proud that Dr. Baird has been invited to join this prestigious group.

Dr Baird was invited to attend an osteoarthritis symposium in Charlotte and was able to participate in this unexpected opportunity to connect with experts in a collaborative, peer-to-peer meeting to share clinical insights regarding evidence-based treatments for osteoarthritis. While she had to take a few days out of the office last week, it was a very productive look at a newer product for osteoarthritis and discuss its use clinically with leading experts in the field. It adds yet another tool for managing patients with joint pain from osteoarthritis.
