Meet Olive.

We found this little girl, and she’s heading to Mexicali first thing tomorrow morning for a full medical workup. We need to find out what’s causing the cuts on her body, whether they’re from the severe matting or something else.

Donations have been coming in VERY slowly, and we desperately need your help covering Olive’s medical expenses. Even $5 makes a difference! Tomorrow’s vet visit is critical to figuring out what she needs to heal. Please consider donating toward her care. Every dollar helps, and we truly cannot do this without you.

Olive also needs a foster or forever home! If you can open your heart and home to this girl, please fill out a form below. 🙏🏻

ELSA NEEDS HER FOREVER 🙏🏻

• 11 months old
• German Shepherd
• Spayed female
• 68 lbs
• Dog friendly
• Very intelligent and eager to learn

Meet Elsa, our beautiful, magical girl.

Elsa has spent almost her entire life in Desert Hot Springs, Ca in a pen with her mama and siblings. It was really all she knew. Haven and Cedar were part of that story, too, until they took off.

Because of that, so many things we take for granted are still new to Elsa. Walking on a leash? She’s learning. Cuddling? Well, she’s still figuring that one out!

But Elsa is trying. She’s a smart girl with a kind soul who is doing her very best to navigate a world that is still unfamiliar to her.

Elsa thrives in a home with other friendly dogs. She needs someone who understands that she won’t learn everything overnight. Someone with patience, love, a secure yard, and the willingness to help her discover what it means to finally be a dog who gets to enjoy life outside a pen.

She’s already come so far. Now she needs someone willing to help her take the next steps.

Could Elsa be the missing piece of your family?

Please share her story. Her time is limited, and we need to find her a forever home by Monday evening.

Louie is a sweet, affectionate, approximately 2-year-old neutered, Chihuahua/Terrier/French Bulldog mix with a beautiful brindle and white coat.

He’s friendly, observant, patient, and very comfortable with handling. Louie loves attention and being petted. He’ll even gently push his head into your hand to ask for more affection. He’s a people-oriented little guy who loves being close to his humans.

Louie is newly rescued and still adjusting to his new life. He’ll need a little extra patience as he settles in, along with a secure, enclosed yard and careful attention around doors and gates while he gets comfortable in his new environment.

This sweet boy has so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him a safe place to land and a chance to show them what a wonderful companion he can be.

🎃 HEY EVERYONE! YOU KNOW YOU WANT A PUMPKIN! 😂

But seriously, have you SEEN THIS FACE?! 😍

Meet Pumpkin! She’s about 5 months old, a Boxer mix, and she’s looking for her forever family! Her siblings are looking for homes, too!

These sweet babies are loving, friendly, and great with dogs and kiddos. Unfortunately, their owner ended up in jail, and they were left behind out in the desert at an encampment trailer. 💔

They’re safe with us now, but they need families of their own! We weren’t expecting to take on more dogs and honestly don’t have much room, so we’re hoping these babies find their forever homes quickly!

So who’s been thinking about adding a little four-legged BALL OF ENERGY to their life? 🤣

Pumpkin is ready to trade her pumpkin patch for a couch, belly rubs, and a family to call her own!

Want to meet Pumpkin or one of her siblings? Apply to foster or adopt here: https://www.rescuelyfe.org/forms

Want to help with their care? Donations help cover vaccines, spay/neuter, and all the other costs that come with getting these babies ready for their forever homes!

🚨 PRAYERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED FOR THIS SWEET BOY! 🚨(Don’t watch video if you get queasy)

This poor guy was attacked out in the desert and taken to Mexicali, where he spent several days receiving stitches and treatment for an infection. Unfortunately, tonight his wound started opening back up, and it appears to be pretty deep. 🤢💔

Our team member Shelly is with him at VEG right now, making sure he gets the care he needs. Please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers as we wait to find out what comes next.

These unexpected emergencies can be costly, but we’re going to do everything we can to help him heal.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL THIS BOY NEEDS. 💔

He also needs a HOME. The people in the homeless encampments where he would hang around say he doesn’t really belong to anyone, and we’ve been asked to help find him a family. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a safe place to land and someone to love him.

First, we need to get him through this medical emergency. Then, we need to find him the loving home he deserves.

🙏 Please send prayers for this sweet boy, and stay tuned for updates. If you’re able to help with his medical expenses please do. It’s desperately needed as donations have been coming in slow. If you’re interested in giving him a home, please reach out.

Happy Saturday everyone…..BENNY GOT ADOPTED!

Remember our sweet Benny? He was found in Thermal by our rescue partners Rob & Chris, covered in ticks and barely alive. It took FOUR HOURS to remove them all. 💔

Benny was diagnosed with Ehrlichia and needed treatment, medication, and follow-up bloodwork.

Today, this little guy officially found his forever home! And now he’s getting kisses, snuggles, and all the love he deserves. 🥹🩷

This is what rescue is all about. Seeing a dog go from barely surviving to finally having a family of his own makes it all worth it.

HAPPY TAILS, BENNY! 🙏🏻🩷

MEET OAKLEY! OUR HANDSOME DOBIE IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

Three years. That’s how long Oakley lived at a trailer park in Thermal, California, without the care and love every dog deserves. 💔

We can’t go back and give him those years back, but we CAN help make the rest of his life everything he deserves and more!

Oakley is a gorgeous, 3-year-old Doberman with a heart just as big as he is. Despite his past, he’s a gentle, mellow boy who is resilient, smart, and ready for a fresh start.

• Neutered male
• Dog-friendly
• Kid-friendly
• House-trained
• Gentle, mellow, and oh-so-lovely!

This boy has so much life ahead of him, and we want his next chapter to be filled with cozy beds, adventures, belly rubs, and people who will NEVER let him down.

Now that he is healed from a horrific infection Oakley deserves a family who will show him what it feels like to truly belong. Could that be you?

ADOPT OR FOSTER:

He needs to be adopted or find a new foster before the 22nd as his foster is going on vacation.🤞🏻🙏🏻

MEET CHASE! OUR TINY TRIPOD WHO NEEDS A HOME!

• 2 years old
• 11 lbs
• Chihuahua mix
• Neutered male
• Dog friendly
• Cat friendly
• Kid friendly
• House trained

Chase is a tiny little guy with a BIG heart and a cat-like personality!

This sweet boy was abandoned by a resident in Desert Hot Springs. For a month, he survived underneath a neighbor’s home while they fed him and tried to help. Then one day, Chase came out limping, and the neighbors reached out for help.

The vet suspected he had been kicked. 💔

We tried everything we could to save his leg, including surgery with pins to repair the leg. Unfortunately, the injury wasn’t healing properly, and we had to make the difficult decision to amputate.

Chase is now a tripod, but that doesn’t stop this little guy from being absolutely wonderful! 🩷

It’s heartbreaking to think about what he may have endured. You can tell he hasn’t always been treated kindly, and he’s understandably a little jumpy when meeting new people. But give him a little time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll discover the sweetest little soul.

Once Chase realizes you’re a good human, his walls come down, and his beautiful personality shines through. He’s a gentle, cat-like little companion who just wants to feel safe and loved. Even his favorite toy is a cat toy. 🤦‍♀️😂

He has already overcome so much. Now, he deserves a home where he’ll never have to wonder if he’s safe again.

Located in the Coachella Valley, Ca

CHASE IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

Could you be the person who shows this tiny boy that not all humans will hurt him?
