Our animal services officers go above and beyond for the animals that they pick up. Officer Share picked up this dog that was overrun with fleas and had been outside in the heat. She immediately got the dog back to the shelter and cooled it down and removed all the fleas.

Sometimes we have to transport or pick up animals from emergency clinics. This was Gunner who was thankful for the ride home from the emergency clinic because he had an issue swallowing so he would vomit his food. Gunner has since been adopted :)

Flagler Animal Services serves all the animals in our jurisdiction even the wildlife! We pick up orphaned babies and the injured and the sick. We work with a wonderful native wildlife rehab facility and bird rehab in St. Augustine. Please call us if you see a wild animal in need. These are a few of our recent rescues.
