Just call Guenon monkeys the little Johnny Appleseeds of their wild world. Because they are primarily frugivores (fruit eaters), guenons are critical seed dispersers for the sub-Saharan forests. As they forage and travel, they distribute seeds through their droppings, helping new trees grow.

According to Zoo Atlanta, Guenon monkeys (like this one enjoying their new NibbleNet) have massive cheek pouches that can hold almost as much food as their stomachs. These African primates use these pouches to quickly stash fruit while foraging, allowing them to carry their snacks to the safety of high tree branches where they can eat in peace

At the very minimum, a horse needs to eat 1% of his body weight daily in long-stemmed roughage (grass/hay or hay replacers) for normal digestive tract activity. Consuming 2% of the bodyweight in forage is more ideal, however.
