Tonight we gathered to celebrate Dr. Annette Sysel and the impact she has made on our hospital, our team, and our clients over the years.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, compassion, and care she has given to so many pets and families throughout her time with us. She has been a valued member of the Martin Downs Animal Hospital family, and she will be greatly missed.

Today our team got the sweetest surprise in the mail! 💙

A huge thank you to Dr. Stathakis for sending us a care package all the way from North Carolina — complete with homemade cookies! 🍪✨ Needless to say, they will not last long around here!

We miss having Dr. Stathakis around the hospital, but it means so much that she still thinks of her Martin Downs family. The thoughtful gesture absolutely made our day and put smiles on everyone’s faces.

Thank you, Dr. Stathakis, for the delicious treats and for reminding us that once you’re part of the MDAH family, you’re always part of the family. ❤️

Join us on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM as we celebrate Dr. Sysel and wish her well on her next chapter.

We will have light refreshments available, and we invite our clients, friends, and patients' families to stop by and say farewell before Dr. Sysel's last day with us on June 5th.

Dr. Sysel has been a valued part of our hospital team, and we would love for those whose pets she has cared for over the years to have the opportunity to stop in and say goodbye.
