🐾🚨 PLEASE WELCOME OUR TWO NEW FREELOADERS… I MEAN FAMILY MEMBERS! 🚨🐾

Aunts and Uncles, congratulations! You have TWO new nieces, and unfortunately, neither one has a job, a savings account, or any intention of contributing financially to this household!

Meet Potato Chip and Mochacino!

🥔 Potato Chip is our little white beauty, almost 4 years old and a Sagittarius. So naturally, we expect some attitude, questionable decisions, and absolutely no accountability for her actions.

☕ Mochacino is our gorgeous fawn girl, almost 3 years old and a Capricorn. She’s probably already judging the accommodations, evaluating the staff, and wondering why room service is taking so long.

Both girls have officially arrived at their foster home, received their welcome baths, and are currently relaxing with their foster family like two ladies who just checked into an all-inclusive resort.
No bills. No responsibilities. Free meals. Unlimited affection. Honestly, we would like to apply for this program ourselves.
They’ll head to the vet early next week for their intake exams, but this weekend is about something much more important.

LOVE.

We don’t know everything these girls have been through, but we do know what happens next. They get soft beds, full bellies, gentle hands, kisses, patience, and people who will remind them every single day that they matter.
Sometimes rescue isn’t about the big dramatic moments. Sometimes it’s watching a dog finally relax after a bath, curl up somewhere safe, and realize that nobody is asking anything of her except to be loved.
And that right there is why we do this.
So Aunts and Uncles, please welcome your two beautiful new nieces to the Space Coast Frenchie Rescue family!
They’re unemployed, high maintenance, and already costing us money.WE LOVE THEM ALREADY.

🤔💭 Meco, deep in thought this evening…

“See, what REALLY happened was…” 😂😂

So we had a handyman come out to fix some of the screens these heathens have absolutely WRECKED by running straight through them. 🙄 Naturally, the second this man pulled out a drill, Meco decided it was time to choose violence and went RUNNING over to take a bite out of him. 💀🤣

And just like that, our spicy little potato was sentenced to AIR JAIL. 🚔🐶

Now he’s sitting there contemplating his life choices… or plotting his next felony. Honestly, it could go either way. 😂

Although Meco is a man of limited mobility in the back end, he more than makes up for it with UNLIMITED ATTITUDE. This boy has four-wheel-drive energy with two-wheel-drive capabilities and absolutely ZERO respect for authority. 💅🏼

Please keep him in your thoughts during this difficult time as he serves his sentence for aggravated handyman. 🤣🤣

Im saying this LOUD and clear.

We are so unbelievably tired of the constant judgment, criticism, and unsolicited opinions about how we run this rescue.

Let's get a few things straight.

💰 "Why are you always asking for money?"

BECAUSE WE ARE A NONPROFIT RESCUE.

What exactly do you think pays for veterinary care, surgeries, medications, food, and the endless emergencies that come through our doors? Thoughts and prayers? Your Facebook comments?

We don't have an unlimited bank account. We don't have a magical money tree growing in someone's backyard. We rely on donations to keep saving lives. That's literally how nonprofit animal rescue works.

🐾 "Why are you constantly begging people to adopt these dogs?"

BECAUSE SOME OF THESE DOGS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN OUR RESCUE FOR MONTHS WITHOUT A SINGLE APPLICATION.

Not one.

We post them repeatedly because they deserve homes. Because every dog sitting in rescue means another dog we potentially cannot save.

And apparently, posting a dog more than once is somehow offensive to people who aren't doing a damn thing to help that dog.

🩺 AND WHILE WE'RE AT IT, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FACEBOOK VETERINARIANS.

Because apparently, every time we post a medical case, the comment section suddenly becomes a veterinary conference.

"Have you tried this?"

"Why aren't you doing that?"

"My dog had something similar, and I gave him this."

"You should try this supplement."

"That surgery isn't necessary."

"You're spending too much money on that."

PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. STOP.

We work with actual veterinary professionals. Licensed veterinarians. Medical teams. Specialists when needed. People who have examined these animals, reviewed their diagnostics, and understand their individual medical conditions.

You see a Facebook post.

We see the bloodwork, radiographs, medical records, diagnostics, treatment plans, and the animal physically in front of us.

THOSE ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

We are not going to compromise an animal's medical treatment because someone on Facebook thinks the bill is too high.

Helpful suggestions made respectfully are one thing. But arguing with our medical decisions, spreading misinformation, or acting like you know more than the professionals treating these animals is another.

Here's what people seem to forget.

We are VOLUNTEERS. We sacrifice our sleep, our money, our time, and sometimes our own mental well-being for these animals.

And then we open Facebook to find someone sitting comfortably behind a screen explaining everything we're supposedly doing wrong.

The audacity? It’s exhausting.

Are we perfect? Absolutely not.

Do we make difficult decisions? Every single day.

Would we love more funding, more fosters, more adopters, and fewer emergencies? YOU BET YOUR ASS WE WOULD.

But criticism without contribution does absolutely nothing for these animals.

You don't have to agree with every decision we make. You don't have to donate. You don't have to adopt.

We will NOT apologize for fundraising.

We will NOT apologize for repeatedly posting dogs who have been overlooked.

We will NOT apologize for advocating loudly for animals who cannot advocate for themselves.

If you have enough time to constantly criticize a rescue, you have enough time to share an adoption post.

Our dogs don't need your opinions.

To the people who consistently support us, donate, foster, adopt, share, and encourage us: THANK YOU. You are the reason we can keep going. THANK YOU to our veterinarian team for their knowledge and their willingness to ALWAYS help us.

Rescue is not for everyone and until you are physically in it deep with your hands wet, you’ll never understand.

🍪🐾 WHO NEEDS A LITTLE SWEET TREAT? MEET COOKIE! 🐾🍪

Y’all, we have a 53-pound Cookie looking for her forever home, and NO, she is not on Weight Watchers. She is a FULL-SIZE, FAMILY-SIZE, DOUBLE-STUFFED ENGLISH BULLDOG COOKIE!
Cookie is 5 years old and a GEMINI. So right off the bat, you know she’s got two personalities, three opinions, and absolutely no intention of changing for anybody.
Other female dogs? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Cookie does not believe in women supporting women. She is NOT a girls’ girl, and she’s made that very clear.
Kids? LOVES THEM! She absolutely adores her foster’s grandson. Apparently children are wonderful, but other females are competition.
Furniture? Don’t worry about her jumping on your couch. At 53 pounds, gravity has already handled that situation. Honestly, that’s a selling point.
Potty training? Well, buckle up, buttercup! Feed this girl outside on your patio or porch twice a day, and she’ll p*e and p**p outside twice a day. The rest of the day? MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR. We’re not promising miracles here.
Cats? We have absolutely no idea. Cookie has declined to comment.
A**l glands? Oh, she’s got issues. Because apparently being an English Bulldog wasn’t expensive or glamorous enough. Nothing says luxury like a 53-pound dog with a questionable b***y.
But underneath all that extra fluff, attitude, and occasional b***y drama is a sweet girl who deserves a family to love her exactly as she is!
Cookie will be ready for adoption SOON, so GET THOSE APPLICATIONS IN NOW! Don’t wait until this oversized bakery item is flying off the shelf!
And remember, she’s a Gemini. You’re not just adopting one personality. You’re getting a BOGO deal with absolutely no return policy!

ETHEL IS STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HER.
Some dogs get hundreds of applications. Some get adopted almost immediately. And then there are dogs like Ethel, who quietly wait and hope that someday someone will see just how special they are.
Ethel is 6 years old, and when she first came into our rescue, she wasn’t feeling very good. She was full of worms, uncomfortable, and just wasn’t herself. She needed medical care, patience, and someone willing to give her the chance to feel better.
Thankfully, she found two wonderful foster parents, Dan and Tammy, who have given her so much love and helped her blossom into a completely different little girl.
Today, Ethel is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, feeling so much better, and has a whole lot more pep in her step. The girl who once preferred to do absolutely nothing is now running, playing with toys, and showing off a silly personality we weren’t sure was even there.
And let’s talk about her housebreaking because we are SO proud of her. Ethel used to be terrified of going outside. Her foster family practically had to carry her out the door. But with patience and consistency, she has learned how to use the doggie door, and in the last few days she has had ZERO accidents. That’s a huge accomplishment for our girl.
Ethel loves everyone she meets. She loves her couch, her crate, sleeping in bed, and being close to her people. She doesn’t ask for much. A comfortable place to sleep, someone to love her, and a little patience as she continues learning.
What makes us sad is knowing how far she’s come and that she’s still waiting.
She’s not a puppy. She’s not some fancy, highly sought-after dog. She’s a 6-year-old English Bulldog who has already been through enough and deserves to spend the rest of her life being somebody’s everything.
Dan and Tammy have done an incredible job giving Ethel the love, security, and care she needed to become the dog she is today. Now we just need someone to continue what they started.
Please don’t overlook Ethel because of her age or because she isn’t the youngest dog on our page. She has so much love left to give, and somewhere out there is a couch that should have Ethel curled up on it.
She’s ready. She’s healthy. She’s happy. She’s just missing a family to call her own.
Please share Ethel. Maybe the person who is meant to love her forever just hasn’t seen her yet.

🐾❤️ THE VET BILLS NEVER STOP! ❤️🐾
Well, here we are again, coming to you with our hands out, our hearts full, and our bank account crying.
Our sweet girls Ladybug and Bagel are both scheduled for BOAS surgery and spays on October 30th at Florida Affordable Veterinary Services in Rockledge. The cost? A little over $2,000. Because apparently breathing properly is expensive!
And then there’s Muffin. Our poor girl is still struggling with UTI issues and now needs X-rays to figure out what’s going on.
We know we ask for help a lot. Believe us, we wish we didn’t have to. But these dogs depend on us, and we depend on you. We simply cannot continue saving them without the amazing people who stand behind our little rescue.
So we’re asking something a little different this time. Could you get your friends, family, coworkers, or even your employer involved? Maybe your office would like to sponsor one of these girls or help cover part of a surgery. Every little bit makes a difference.
