This is Phoenix , she’s a rescue from Space coast frenchie rescue.
Her owners hired me to mainly work her dog reactivity issues.
More than likely she suffers from a lack and or proper socialization when she was a puppy.
She wants to go after other dogs(active defensive reflex).
We’ve been working with a nice calm dog (thanks Millie😉) to change the way she feels about other dogs.
Also redirection, so that she doesn’t stare… Dogs that stare longer than 2-3 seconds will cause a reaction.
I will continue her training to help phoenix and her wonderful owners becoming the best she can be.

Leadership is all about being consistent, firm , but fair(ex…not fair to punish a dog until you teach the dog what you want).
Here’s a video of an example of leadership.

Meet Thor Everyone !
This Big boy is handsome , lovable and a Joy to train.
We’ve been working on building Trust , and all the basic obedience commands.
He is a rescue and is so fortunate to have been adopted by a great family/home.

Just finished with this rescue and his wonderful family.
Frank picked up on his training really well and enjoyed it.
We acquired and advanced his commands(sit stay , down stay , recall , leash walking , leave it , drop it , shake , and also impulse control) all in 5 lessons.
Thank you Carlos and Dee for investing in your dog !

This is 6 month old Thomas.
With owners who invest in their newest family member.
Goal , to be the best he can be.
Today we worked at a mall , working in public places as they want him to become a service dog.
It’s extremely important to expose him to as many different environments as possible.
Building confidence and trust in all these areas.
He did amazing for a 6 month old.

It’s very important to train everywhere with your dog.

So today’s lesson was in the warm Atlantic Ocean waters.
