Hi all. Sorry for the delays in updates.
Schedule is getting smoothed out and I should be mostly caught up by next week.

The grief has gotten to me and I have made some scheduling mistakes and had to take more time off of work then I wanted to.

I wanted to thank everyone for their patience, kindness, and understanding.

If anyone is in need of appointments I have availability within the next two weeks.

If there’s anyone I made any mistakes with please reach out and let’s see what I can do for you.

As for updates on the dogs- they’re doing amazing. Even the little old lady. Duke is expensive to care for and unfortunately, the go fund me is not releasing funds, and I’ve only seen about 1/4 of it. I am trying to figure out how to get access to the money before dukes next appointment at the vet which will be $3-500.

If anyone sees this post and is planning to donate, please reach out to me personally, as the go fund me has had me completely tied up and I have had to use most of my own money for expenses and I’ve about run out.

I know things will be ok though ❤️

Anyone on here have any 0-3 month onesies?
Need them for Bella- the senior dog I’ve inherited. She has to wear diapers and they only stay on with onesies and baby onesies and diapers work best for her

So Bella has been very perky lately. She’s very old and doesn’t have much time regardless but we want to make her comfy for a while before making any decisions as she’s not in as bad of shape as I thought she was.
Duke is in worse shape, however the meds he’s on have made him so much better already.

We find out more with him on Wednesday.

Bella, did however have fleas. So we have set up flea treatment for all pets, and have stocked up on cat food and litter for the person caring for my mom’s cats. I will also be getting a couple months worth of dukes scripts to ensure we are ahead of the game.

My mom was desperately trying to help her dog while losing everything, and it turns out his meds were being stretched very thin, which is why he started to deteriorate quickly. We’re making sure he is comfortable for the rest of his life.

Will make more updates in a few weeks.
I’d like to take a break and get back to business and bring some smiles to some faces.

So that coconut shape in the center of dukes chest is his heart. And all the white static around it has yet to be identified but it shouldn’t be there. He has very little room to breathe in there and his air ways are being constricted or obstructed. The vet wants to do further testing to see if there’s fluid or something else.

Either way, he likely has heart disease and his heart is way too big.
I got him on new meds and proper dosages and he’s like a brand new dog overnight.

He’ll be on these meds for life, and as far as I’m aware, he won’t be in need or up to any surgeries.

My goal is to make him happy and comfortable and to keep him around.

His wound is doing great, and his ear infection is clearing up.

He gets staples out, follow up blood work, and an echo cardio gram on the 12.

The appointment he was just at coated around $463.

His next appointment will be similar.

Bella goes for her quality of life exam tomorrow ❤️

Just a small update.
Duke is going to the er vet later on - we’re going to make sure there aren’t any foreign bodies and hopefully he’ll be squared away for a few weeks . I will update this specific post with the cost.

Picking up a refill on his heard meds this weekend- not sure the cost of them yet.

I’ve had to use $90 of the donations toward my own bills for this month. I had to leave work early today, I’m just low on strength. I thankfully have the most understanding clients, and I appreciate yalls love and support so much.

Unfortunately, I have a devastating update. My mom has passed.
I’m so lost for words.

But within 24 hours, my wonderful clients raised $650 and then the go fund me has raised about $700. I’m so grateful.

We took Duke to his first vet visit yesterday and got staples in his ear, medication for pain, antibiotics to prevent infection, ear drops for an ear infection, a refill on his cough pills and blood work .

The blood work revealed that he has elevated liver enzymes so he has to go back for a follow up to make sure it’s leveled back out.

He goes back in two weeks for staple removal and 6 weeks for more blood work.

We also have to take him to a full service vet to check him for foreign bodies- he kept eating his bandages while I was caring for his wound until his appt. His bowel movements haven’t been steadily solid and he’s thrown up once so they did suggest we get his belly checked so I’m going to do that.

This visit alone was about $390.

I also did have to use about $150 of the total donations to purchase an urn, because my mother did want to be cremated.

There are so many more costs to ensure her life is ended with peace and her animals are cared for up to her standards.

Please, help spread the word and please continue to donate. I am so confused and I’m scared to be honest.

Hi everyone, I’m here with some sad news. I have been out of work the past few days at my mother’s side in the hospital.
She is currently on life support, and we’re all surviving on prayer right now.

I am going to still be working later this week but I will be moving a bit slower and having to re arrange a bit of the schedule.

Please be patient with me.

I am also going to ask anyone who is willing to come forward with donations to help me care for her pets. Her dog is dealing with an open wound infection, her senior dog is in bad shape, and she has two cats that need to be fed and cared for, which I can’t do in my own home. The people stepping forward to help the cats need help.

Please spread the word and help us help her soul, Duke. And please spread some prayer too. I do believe in miracles

This was very very hard to write, and I’m going to appreciate anyone reaching out, but if I don’t respond or respond well, please excuse it ❤️
