Fall is the best time of year here at MTB! 🍂🍁🐴
It was a busy, productive weekend spent improving the indoor arena footing and MAG flake refresh. We did enjoy the fruits of our labor on Sunday with a visit with friends, Dot & Lauren, and a few rides with our own horses! Grateful to be surrounded by supportive barn friends and family 🧡

September 1st 🍂☀️ When summer slips into autumn. Nights are cooler, mums are out, and a few farm projects in prep for colder months. Our herd is enjoying these beautiful days. Is there anything better than September riding in Maine?!

In an unexpected turn of events - we have a new barn floor! 😅 Safe from any catastrophes. Coady identified a bigger problem than we originally anticipated…with a little help from myself and a good friend, we demo’d the rotting boards and installed a new pressure treated floor in less than 24hrs! Phew, go team. I couldn’t do it without him ❤️

What a great day with Libby Lyman! We all had super rides with helpful takeaways from our lessons. A day spent in the barn with good company, lovely horses, and beautiful weather is a day well spent! ❤️🐴

Seasonal check in: Happy Summer! ☀️🌸🐴
Welcoming July with some extreme heat here in Maine. Our herd is enjoying nighttime turnout and keeping cool in their stalls under fans during the day. No complaints from us though - too many months of deep freeze to not enjoy the sun now!

Spring cleaning: Barn edition 🧼🧹
One of my favorite times of year…love a clean barn from ceiling to floor! Dust bunnies, stinky stalls, and grimy pastures, be gone. Thanks to our team of incredible boarders for helping us get this done! ❤️

Spring has officially arrived! 🌷☀️ The days are getting longer, the grass is starting to push through, and the horses are shedding. Fresh air and more time in the saddle - we’re soaking up every minute!

Our fourth winter here at MTB and by far the most snow we have seen yet! ❄️ The horses aren’t sure if they love or hate it…but we all are happy for some sunshine after a bitter cold weekend inside. Thankful for helpful boarders and a supportive husband - more hands make light work ❤️🐴

Kicking off 2026 by taking advantage of a few warm days! 🐴☀️ First on the list: arena maintenance. Thanks to our incredible team of boarders and barn help, we leveled, dragged, and spread magnesium flakes. Not videoed was our ride after the fact…but WOW! What a difference in dust control and great footing.

Super appreciative of this barn family ❤️
Happy New Year!
