Yes. Baconator. 😂

This adorable little Chihuahua mix came to us with possibly the silliest name ever—and we loved it so much, we HAD to keep it. 🌭🥓

Baconator has been a resident of the shelter since 8/17/26, and this sweet girl is ready to take her talents somewhere a little more permanent. 🏡

And when we say talents… we mean TALENTS.

🐿️ Part Chihuahua. Part squirrel. Baconator has some seriously impressive climbing skills. We’re not entirely convinced she understands that dogs are generally supposed to stay on the ground.

🤸‍♀️ Creative AND athletic. Why take the normal route when you can climb, maneuver, and create your own?

🐶 Dog friendly! She’s happy to have some canine buddies along for her adventures.

📡 And THOSE EARS. We’re pretty sure they pick up ALLLL the extra channels. Local news? Weather? Satellite radio? Conversations three counties over? Baconator knows. 😂

Lucy Lu has been a resident of the shelter since April 17th, through absolutely no fault of her own. Sadly, her owner tragically passed away, leaving Lucy Lu without the person and home she once knew. 💔

Despite such a major change in her world, this girl continues to be loving, playful, sweet, and always ready to soak up some attention. 🥰

And then there’s the ear. 😂👂

Lucy Lu has one perfectly crunchy little ear that clearly decided symmetry was boring. It gives her that extra bit of personality and makes an already adorable girl even more unforgettable. 🤣❤️

Kiara has been a resident of the shelter since May 14th, after being rescued from a heartbreaking case of neglect with a badly embedded chain around her neck. Despite everything she endured, Kiara has healed beautifully — and now she’s just waiting for someone to show her what the good life is all about. 🏡💕

At around 2 years old and 36 lbs., Kiara is the perfect medium-sized package. She’s a sweet, shy girl who may need a little time to feel comfortable, but we think she’s more than worth the wait. ❤️

Estimated to be around 6 months old, Goofy is full of puppy energy, curiosity, and love. He came to our shelter on 5/13/26 after being found as a stray in Palatka. Since then, he's been neutered, brought up to date on all his vaccinations, microchipped, and is more than ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.
