My love for poms started when I recieved my very first pom " Risket" for my 4th birthday. Ever since Risket, Ive kept and raised poms in my home . For me it would not be a home without them. Poms are a wonderful addition to a family . Inspite of their size, they can be great pets with children. A small child should always be supervised with these fur babies for both the pom and childs safety. Wit
h that said, almost all poms love children and make for a perfect pet while your child grows. Poms are so beautiful with their thick lush coats and their typical smiling faces! They are sweet, funny and quite smart and always entertaining. Poms make loyal family pets and companions and contrary to popular belief, not all poms are barkers. They all have different personalities..... just like people do . They also come in many shapes and sizes ,but they do have a standard size recognized by AKC. At sugarland Pomeranians we strive to breed within AKC standards. Our goal at Sugarland Pomeranians is to place our babies into stable loving family homes as their happiness and yours is top priority. All of our poms, both adults and babies live in our home under our feet as part of our family. These precious poms deserve to be loved and in turn will give a lifetime of unconditional love back to you . No pom should ever have to live its life in a cage. Neither are they meant to be out side dogs. However they do love to go out and run and play , but then they need the security , comfort and safety of a home and loving family . We can not guarentee exactly what each pom baby will grow up to look like. Yet we do our best to provide as much information with what we know from their lines and genetics.... such as size, color , and health , but even then we can be surprised . Though not all poms will be of equal quality ,ALL are equal in their ability to love and to bring joy to your life! We have a wonderful array of exotic colors Merle , Chocolate and Black and Blue tri, , Parti , as well as typical pom colors in Cream , orange , black , sables and red. we chose our poms with specifics in mind , color , coat, conformation and pedigrees and they are AKC registered . They are regularily vetted and vaccinated. They will come to your home from ours pre loved and pampered with a special package to get them settled into their new home and to help you with your new pom baby.
