New GOAT Camp dog starting this week!

Ace is a 1.5 year old Goldendoodle here to work on his leash reactivity and inability to settle. Right now, communication and expectations are pretty unclear for this guy, and he’s been given far too much freedom without the structure or boundaries to know what to do with it.

It sounds like the nice thing to do but in reality, it’s created a dog who’s constantly overstimulated, anxious, and struggling to regulate himself.

Our focus will be teaching Ace how to slow down, settle, and make better decisions while showing his owners how to provide the clear communication, structure, and leadership he’s been missing.

This boy has plenty of potential. He just needs some guidance to help him channel it in the right direction!

🏅🐐 GOAT Camp Graduation Day! 🐐🏅

Huge congratulations to Mia & Gigi on graduating GOAT Camp today!

Let me tell you something about these two dogs and their owners. THIS is what ideal clients look like!

Mia came to us struggling with severe separation anxiety, constant overstimulation, and an inability to settle independently. She was completely dependent on her owners for comfort and had very little confidence on her own.

Gigi came to us with leash reactivity so severe that her owner could no longer safely walk her. Her world had become smaller and smaller because her owners simply didn’t have the tools to manage her behavior.

Both dogs had SERIOUS issues, but what makes these two success stories so special isn’t just the progress the dogs made - it’s what their OWNERS did.

Both families completely changed their habits, embraced new boundaries and routines, listened to our guidance, and consistently put in the work at home, even when it meant doing things differently than they were used to.

The progress that they have made in just a few weeks is absolutely unbelievable 🔥

In just a couple of weeks, both dogs have made tremendous progress with their confidence, anxiety, reactivity, and overall state of mind.

You can make almost UNRECOGNIZABLE progress in a matter of weeks IF YOU LISTEN, CHANGE YOUR HABITS, AND STAY CONSISTENT.

These owners didn’t expect someone else to magically fix their dogs. They took responsibility, put in the work, and became the leaders their dogs needed.

Huge congratulations to Mochi and her owner on graduating GOAT Camp this week!

Mochi made tremendous progress with her anxiety, reactivity, ability to settle, and possessive behaviors, learning to make better decisions and look to her owners for guidance instead of taking matters into her own hands.

A HUGE part of Mochi’s success came from her owners recognizing that THEIR habits needed to change if they wanted Mochi’s behavior to change. They embraced new approaches to structure, boundaries, and leadership, even when those changes felt unfamiliar, because they understood that this was what Mochi needed from them.

Training isn’t ever about just changing the dog. It’s about changing the relationship. When owners learn how to provide calm, consistent, and fair leadership, their dogs no longer have to feel responsible for managing everything themselves.

There is always more work to do, but Mochi and her owners now have the tools to continue building on everything they’ve accomplished!

Huge congratulations to Mochi and her family! Keep putting in the work! 🐐

3 new GOAT Camp dogs started this week!

Macho Man is a 6 year old American Bully here to work through severe leash reactivity and dog aggression. There’s an important distinction here: reactive dogs and aggressive dogs are NOT automatically the same thing, but in Macho Man’s case, his intentions toward other dogs are not pure. At his core, though, this is also a very insecure dog who has learned that barking, lunging, and going on the offensive makes uncomfortable things go away. Our biggest focus will be building his confidence and neutrality. He does NOT need to like other dogs, but he does need to learn that trying to attack them on leash isn’t an option. Instead of immediately reacting, we want him looking to his handler for guidance and trusting them to navigate the situation.

Enzo is a 3 year old Bernedoodle struggling with severe separation anxiety and resource guarding of his owner. He’s sweet and incredibly smart, but he’s an anxious mess with very little confidence in his independence and struggles to relax without access to his owners. He’s done training before, but unfortunately it focused almost entirely on obedience instead of teaching his owners how to actually live with, lead, and communicate with their dog. That’s a HUGE piece we’ll be addressing.

Coal is a 6 month old Lab / Pit / Dane mix here to work on all the basics! We’ll be building calmness and confidence while developing great leash manners, obedience, boundaries, and good habits from the start. We rarely get dogs BEFORE significant behavioral issues develop, and Coal is a blank slate, so we know this dude is going to ROCK this! 💪

🐐🔥 Three new GOAT Camp dogs starting this week!

Saber is an 8 month old Doberman here to work on significant anxiety, constant overstimulation, and leash reactivity that’s gotten so intense his owners can no longer comfortably walk him. First things first, we’re teaching this boy how to settle and regulate his emotions. Once we do that, everything else will be a breeze with a smart boy like him.

Fezzik is a 4 year old German Shepherd here to work through serious leash reactivity, anxiety, and an inability to settle. This guy is constantly seeking stimulation, can’t sit still, and currently won’t allow people into the home, so adding structure, boundaries, and clear direction will be huge for him.

Sugi is a 3 year old Boxer / Hound mix here to work through anxiety, especially separation anxiety, and leash reactivity. She’s also our second tripod 🥹 Her struggles are largely rooted in insecurity, so we’ll be focused on building her confidence and setting clear expectations so she can thrive.

Three very different dogs with plenty to work on, and we’re ready to get after it 💪

Peanut has made tremendous progress with her anxiety, confidence, ability to settle, and overall behavior as she’s learned to follow clear guidance instead of navigating stressful situations on her own. Just as importantly, her owner has learned how to provide the structure, boundaries, fulfillment, and clear communication Peanut was missing, giving them the tools to keep this progress going long after graduation.

Mochi is a 2 year old Pit / Cattle Dog mix here to work through serious reactivity, anxiety, and an inability to settle. She’ll redirect onto the leash when frustrated and has gotten into scuffles with the other dog in the home.

Right now, there’s a major void of leadership in the house, which has allowed Mochi to become possessive over resources like space, toys, attention, and affection. She’s an absolutely brilliant dog and has even completed a board and train before, but the biggest piece was missing: teaching the humans.

Our focus will be showing her owners how to become calm, consistent, and fair leaders, create clear boundaries, and remove the competition between the dogs so everyone understands the expectations in the home.

We’ve got our work cut out for us with this girl, but this is exactly the kind of work we LOVE 🔥

🏅🐐 GOAT Camp Graduates 🐐🏅

Huge congratulations to Ronan, Mishka, Simo, Zuri, Dotti, & Zora on graduating GOAT Camp🔥

Ronan made huge strides with his anxiety, leash reactivity, and ability to settle, becoming much calmer and more responsive to his owner.

Mishka sharpened his leash manners and obedience, learned how to settle, and developed much better boundaries in real-life situations.

Simo made tremendous progress with his separation anxiety, reactivity, and overstimulation while becoming more confident in his independence.

Zuri made major improvements with her anxiety, reactivity, independence, and ability to settle with the structure and communication she was missing.

Dotti became much calmer and easier to communicate with while improving her leash manners, reactivity, and ability to settle.

Zora made huge progress with her anxiety and boundaries, learning how to settle and make better decisions before earning her freedom.

Graduation does NOT mean training is finished. Dog training is a journey, and now it’s up to these owners to make everything they’ve learned part of everyday life.

The skills are there, their owners have the tools, & now it’s all about staying consistent and continuing to put in the work for LIFE 💪
