🐴❤️ Our barn and barn family are truly amazing! ❤️🐴

One of our boarders tried fox hunting for the very first time and loved it! Now, we have some other girls stepping out of their comfort zones and getting ready to try barrels this weekend for the first time, riding green horses! The funny part is that they normally ride English! 😂

I am so proud of these girls for being brave, trying new things, and being willing to learn outside their comfort zones. That’s what makes our barn so special. We support each other, cheer each other on, and encourage one another to try something new.

It’s not just about riding horses. It’s about building confidence, making memories, having adventures, and being part of a barn family that lifts each other up. ❤️🐎

Here’s to trying new things, stepping outside our comfort zones, and making memories together! I wouldn’t trade this barn family for anything! 🥰🤠

With everything that has been going on lately—people we love passing away, parents ending up in the hospital, and just life being harder than it seems—these past few months have been rough.

On top of everything else, we spent almost five months trying to get two horses from a large nonprofit. We drove halfway to Virginia, believing we were finally going to bring home the two horses we had chosen, only to be told they would pick which two we could have. They didn’t know us, they didn’t know our program, and after all the time, phone calls, and effort, it turned into a terrible ordeal.

Honestly, I just don’t understand why giving a horse a second chance has to be so hard.

We aren’t looking for perfect horses. We’re looking for good horses that need a chance—horses that can become part of something meaningful and help children learn, grow, gain confidence, and fall in love with horses the way we have.

After everything, we finally found two good horses that we believe will be a great fit for our lesson program. And maybe that’s the way it was supposed to happen all along.

Sometimes the road to the right horses is a lot harder than we ever imagined. But we’re not giving up.

Every horse deserves a chance to be loved, trusted, and given a purpose. ❤️🐴

Here’s to second chances—and to the two horses who are getting theirs with us. ❤️
