The baby bunnies have now reached that age where a new world is ready to be explored, with eyes and ears open. They line up at the front of the nesting box, that they aren't prepared to leave just yet, but watch their mother as she goes about eating, drinking, and resting. They are being handled more often, which a few of them haven't decided if it they are okay with, but with patience and gentleness they always end up falling asleep with you cradling them in your hands held close against you. They are at the age where you want them to stay forever, but that is what makes this time so special.
