Wow! Wow! Wow!

Honey and Waffles continue to represent Back2Basics Dog Training with such bright light!

As their trainer, nothing makes me happier than watching these two girls, both rescues, living their absolute best life. Honey was definitely a hard nut to crack, but, she has blossomed into a truly, once in a lifetime dog. Her loyalty and love is an incredible gift. To be on the receiving end of that love….another truly special gift.

When Waffles joined the family, she was everything a Malinois is supposed to be; energetic, happy, and at times, a wee bit of a reckless free spirit. Her desire to learn and please made training her a true joy. Her big heart just shined through in absolutely everything we did together.

To see them travel with Mom and Dad, smiling and happy, is the real gift (To me) . To know that they were stopped by no less than eight groups of people, complimenting the girls on their behavior, and socializing with them, reminds me of why it is I do what I do, every single day.

Auntie Gabby is so incredibly proud of her girls.

Back2Basics Dog Training is very proud of our B2B Lucy!

Lucy just ran her very first race at the Weiner Dog races in Buda, Tx!

This video is super cute! But! This is a HUGE moment for Lucy! She came to us for an extreme lack of confidence. Lucy and her family have worked hard, using the guidance they learned in private lessons.

Today, Lucy truly showed how much her confidence has grown! She was a little startled by the opening of the gate, but, she persevered and came in Fouth!

Lucy could have come in last and we would have still be incredibly proud of her!

We will be there next year, Lucy! Cheering you on in person!!!!!!!!

Way to go, Loose-ca-loosk (AKA Lucy)!!!!!

B2B would like to welcome, Sadie!

Sadie is a 9 month old German Shepherd!

Sadie joins us for Basic Obedience Training!

Due to her solid nerve core, Sadie started a little light work on her second day of our three day acclimation phase!

She’s now two days into her actual training and is already recalling, placing, and waiting! Wow! Wow! Wow!

We can’t wait to watch Sadie progress through the next two weeks! She is driven and has a strong desire to learn!

It is very rare that we get to see our trainees enjoying life after training, live and in person.

Last week, a late night trip found us hanging out with Sirius!

He’s grown so much since he was here!

His behavior was an absolute dream. He was in a bustling and stressful environment. Yet, he remained calm, silent, and well behaved.

I sat there, just watching him. The source of pride he gave me as his trainer is something I cannot put into words!

Mom has truly taken every bit of information she was given and put it into Sirius. She has made sure to make the most out of her investment!

What a treat!

Sirius, you make us so proud!

You, too, Mom!
