Bucky is celebrating Christmas in St. Louis this year and he is loving every second.
His family drove all the way to Texas to adopt him through the BR Best Chance❤️🐾 program and he is now living the best life with snow, and a family who adores him.

🐾 Hi, I’m Bucky 🐾

I’ve been here at BR Best Chance❤️🐾 for a while now… and I’m still waiting for my family. 💔

I’m not sure why no one’s come to meet me yet. I promise I’m a good boy — I love to play ball, go for walks, and be part of whatever you’re doing. I’ve got lots of energy and even more love to give. 🎾💛

The people here tell me every day how special I am. They say my person just hasn’t found me yet… and I hope they’re right.

I just want a home — someone to throw the ball, laugh with me, and let me curl up beside them when the day is done. ❤️

Gluteus and Maximus — affectionately known around here as The B***y Boys — have officially been adopted! 🎉

This goofy pair stole everyone’s hearts at BR Best Chance❤️🐾, and now they get to keep the fun going with their amazing new family — a sweet mother–daughter duo who instantly fell in love with both of them. 💛

These two brought so much laughter, love, and energy to our days, and we couldn’t be happier knowing they’ll get to stay together for their next adventure. 🐾✨

This handsome Lab mix is the definition of joy — he loves people, has the sweetest personality, and will play ball with you all day long 🎾. He’s goofy, loving, and ready to bring so much happiness into someone’s life.

Bucky came into the BR Best Chance ❤️🐾 program from the Bastrop Animal Shelter. Here at Best Retrievers, our professional trainers (Tori is his trainer!) have been giving him the guidance, structure, and confidence he needs so he’ll have the best chance at finding his forever home. 🏡✨

Meet the B***y Boys 🍑🐾 Maximus & Gluteus!

These brothers came into our BR Best Chance ❤️🐾 program from the Bastrop Animal Shelter and have been side-by-side ever since. With training from our professional trainers at Best Retrievers, they’ve built confidence, learned manners, and shown just how sweet they are. ✨

They would love to be adopted together — but most importantly, they just need forever homes 🏡💕 Whether that’s side by side or in two different families, what matters most is that they never have to go back to the shelter.
