Remember the Carolina Poodle Rescue post from last week about the sweet girl named Dolly who came in with heavily matted fur and lots of bruises and sores under all that hair?
Well, with a combination of good medicine and food, some super cute dog pajamas, and a few days of special CPR love, her bright personality has emerged and she is an absolute delight.
This is one of the reasons we do what we do. Seeing a dog relax into feeling safe and cared for is a special experience that never loses its sparkle. This is why we tell dogs that their first day with us is the first day of the rest of their lives-- lives filled with love, joy, and security. Dolly is just one of the many dogs we've had the privilege of helping, and with your support we will be able to help many more dogs like her in the future.
