Oh my… this one was a doozy. 😅

Poor rain sheets always come in looking ROUGH. They work hard keeping our horses dry, and our horses definitely put them through the ringer. Between mud, manure, and mystery stains, this one had truly seen better days.

But after a trip through the wash with my favorite Blanket Safe Ultra soap, this sheet was completely transformed! ✨ Mystery stains? Gone. Funky smells? Gone.

Now this hardworking rain sheet gets to live another day and will be bright, clean, and ready for next season! 🐴🌧️

I absolutely love it when fun patterned blankets come through the wash. Life is way too short for boring blankets, buy the fun blankets! Just know that when you send your printed blankets in for servicing, your blanket lady is probably smiling and giggling the rest of the day. 😂

You know how we said we had some fun and exciting upgrades for blankets this year?! 👀✨

Here’s a little sneak peek of what will be coming home with your blankets this season!

We’ve upgraded our labeling system so it’s even easier to see what clean blankets are in each bag—making unpacking and organizing a breeze. Every blanket already goes home with a service tag showing what was done, but now we’re taking it a step further…

Each blanket will also come home with a metal tag showing its weight, plus a little Plain Bay touch, making it easy to tell blankets apart by weight and to show who helps take care of your equine laundry. The design is still in the works, so it may look a little different from what comes home to you.

As always, we’re looking for ways to make blanket season smoother and easier for you. If you have ideas or suggestions on what would be helpful, send them my way! 💬

Taking a very quick break from all the blanket spam to remind y’all… I also braid for the dressage ring + hunt field ✨

And please, for the love of all things holy… do NOT blunt cut your horse’s mane if you ever plan to braid 😅This video shows the right way to thin/shorten a mane so it actually lays nice and braids like a dream. Your horse will be happier, your braids will look better, and your friendly neighborhood braider (hi, it’s me 👋) will be forever grateful.

Do it right… and your braiding fairies might just kiss your feet 🧚‍♀️💁‍♀️

We are ready for blanket washing season!!

Big thanks to Goodtainer for delivering a storage unit this morning. One blanket pickup route has been completed and 2 more are coming up, with a whole lot more blankets to be washed. Super pumped to have a space dedicated just for blankets.

My husband will be especially thrilled that our garage won't be overflowing with blankets this year!
