April is National Heartworm Awareness Month, and prevention is one of the easiest ways to protect your pet’s health. 🦟🐶

Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes and it only takes one bite to infect a pet. Unfortunately, the signs can be subtle at first, which is why prevention and yearly testing are so important.

A few important reminders:
• Heartworms are transmitted through mosquito bites
• Early symptoms can be mild or even unnoticed
• Year-round prevention keeps your pet protected
• Annual testing helps ensure prevention is working

Hi there! My name is Luna, but everyone around here calls me Tuna! I’m a quirky girl with a big personality and a few hilarious habits that keep my family on their toes.

If you’re looking for me, you’ll probably find me doing my two favorite things: stealing socks and basking in the sunshine!

I also have one very special routine—I like to bark my way through breakfast. I guess I’m just so excited about my morning meal that I have to tell everyone about it while I eat! I’m a unique pup with a lot of love to give and plenty of socks to "collect."
