Day #1 of celebrating our fantastic Team.

They enjoyed homemade breakfast casseroles from our wonderful Dr. Currin, candy, snacks and little trinkets from the amazing Dr's. Lindsey and Kane, lunch from Ruby Tuesday's, and a fully stocked pantry and fridge courtesy of WAC for quick snacks and refreshing drinks to get through the week. And we can't forget the cute socks to keep those busy feet comfy.

Be sure to drop a comment to let our TEAM know how wonderful they truly are!

Update: We will resume normal hours tomorrow, Monday, October 12th.

Please be mindful as we have employees, clients and pets that have all been effected by Hurricane Isaias in varing ways. Be patient and kind.

We love you all and will do our absolute best to ensure every patient is treated as efficiently as possible.

Thank you!!

We are thankful our clinic has no apparent damage. We do have downed trees and power lines at our driveway.

Due to the downed power lines, we are unsure of our exact time/plan to reopen as we do not want any clients/employees having to drive/walk over the lines.

We will share an update as soon as we can get any information regarding the downed lines.

Thank you for understanding.

Stay safe!

🌧️🐾 HURRICANE ISAIAS — WAC CLOSURE UPDATE 🐾🌧️

Mother Nature is making her plans, so we’re making ours! For the safety of our WAC family, clients, and patients, we will be closing at 12:00 PM tomorrow, Friday, October 9th, and will remain closed Saturday, October 10th.

We plan to be back to our normal business hours on Monday, October 12th, assuming all is clear!

🐶🐱 A LITTLE FRIENDLY REMINDER: DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!

Before the storm rolls in, take a quick look around and make sure your pets are stocked up on the essentials:

💊 Prescription medications they may need
🍽️ Plenty of their regular food
🐾 Any other pet supplies you may need over the weekend

Most importantly, please stay safe and take care of yourselves and your four-legged family members!

We know storms can be stressful, so we appreciate your patience and kindness as we navigate this one together. We’ll be doing the same on our end while making sure our WAC team and their families are safe, too. ❤️

From our WAC Family to Yours:
Be prepared. Don’t panic. Stay safe. 🌧️🐾

We’ll see you on the other side of this storm! 💙

Tropical Storm Isaias is moving through the Gulf, and we want to help keep your pets safe. Please bring them indoors, update ID tags and microchip info, and pack a pet emergency kit with food, water, medications, a leash, a carrier, and their favorite comfort items.

Don’t forget to include any medications your pet needs. Make sure you have enough for a few days, and keep them in a waterproof container.

If you need to evacuate, plan ahead and bring your pets with you. If you have any questions about storm preparedness or your pet’s safety, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

Stay safe, and take care of your furry family!

🎃 Trick or treat, smell my feet…

Wait… do your dog’s feet smell like Fritos?!

If you’ve ever caught a whiff of that unmistakable “Frito feet” smell from your pup, you’re definitely not alone! A little corn-chip scent can be normal, but if those tootsies suddenly become extra stinky, red, irritated, or your pup is licking and chewing their paws more than usual, it may be time for a check-up.

If your pup’s paws are giving off more Frito than fresh, give us a call and schedule an appointment! We’re here to help keep those paws happy and healthy.

🎉🐾 Happy 4-Year Workaversary to Latoya! 🐾🎉

We’re so happy to celebrate four years with one of our wonderful Veterinary Technicians! We’re grateful for the care, compassion, and heart she brings with her every day.

And as if working in veterinary medicine isn’t enough to keep her busy, Latoya is also continuing her education and currently pursuing a degree in Social Work!

While veterinary medicine and social work may seem like two very different paths, we think they actually have something pretty important in common, caring for others, helping people through difficult moments, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it. And that is something Latoya has always done so well.

We’re proud to watch her continue to grow, both professionally and personally, as she works toward this next chapter in her career. We’re lucky to have her on our team and can’t wait to see where her hard work takes her!

Help us wish Latoya a very Happy 4-Year Workaversary! 🎉🐶🐱
