We just wanted to take a moment to check in on everyone after Hurricane Isaias. ❤️

We took quite a bit of damage ourselves, but thankfully, we are all alive, safe, and well, including all of our animals!

We know so many in our community were hit hard, and our hearts go out to everyone dealing with the aftermath.

How did everyone fare? How are you and your fur babies doing? 🐾

Sending lots of love to our community as we all work through the cleanup and recovery. ❤️

With the upcoming storm, we wanted to take a moment to go over our hurricane/severe weather policy. 🌀🐾

Our biggest priority during severe weather is the safety of our sitters while still making sure the pets in our care are taken care of.

Scheduled visits will still be completed whenever it is safe to do so, but visit times may need to shift depending on weather, flooding, road conditions, downed trees, or other hazards. If it is unsafe for our sitter to be on the road at your normal visit time, they will wait until conditions improve enough to safely travel.

Because of this, we cannot guarantee exact visit windows during a hurricane or severe weather event.

If your pet’s visit time needs to change, we will do our best to keep you updated along the way. Communication is especially important during storms, so please make sure we have the best phone number to reach you if needed.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work to keep both your pets and our sitters safe. 🤍🐾

I wanted to share a difficult personal update with everyone. Unfortunately, we have lost our baby.

Because of this latest loss, I will not be returning to work anytime soon while my husband and I take the time we need to grieve, process everything, and try to cope with the loss of another baby.

Nothing has changed with Paws N’ Claws as far as Peyton’s availability. She is still available for visits and will continue caring for our wonderful clients while I step away.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and kindness during such an incredibly painful time. More than anything, we would deeply appreciate your prayers as we try to navigate another heartbreaking loss.

Thank you for continuing to support our family and our small business through every season of life.

Hi everyone! ❤️

I have some very exciting news to share! After a long journey with IVF, I am officially pregnant! 🥹❤️. Those who have been with me since the beginning know how huge a blessing this is!

Due to everything I have been through, I am considered high-risk and am not allowed to work during my pregnancy. Unfortunately, this means I will not be returning to pet sitting any time soon.

Paws N’ Claws is not closing! Peyton will still be doing visits, so services will continue to be available with her as your sitter.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and I hope you all understand. I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of you who has trusted me with your fur babies over the years. It truly means more to me than you know!

Thank you all for your love, support, and understanding as I focus on this pregnancy and hopefully bringing our rainbow baby home. ❤️

While we love celebrating Independence Day, it can be one of the most stressful days of the year for our pets. Here are a few ways to help keep them safe:

🐶 Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room during fireworks.
🎶 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help drown out loud noises.
🏷️ Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date, and double-check that your pet is microchipped. 🚪 Keep doors and gates closed, as frightened pets can bolt unexpectedly.
🍔 Keep holiday foods, alcohol, and fireworks out of reach. Many common cookout foods can be dangerous for pets.
❤️ Stay calm! Your pet often takes cues from you.

A little extra preparation can go a long way in keeping your furry family members safe this holiday.

I wanted to take a moment to spotlight Peyton! She is the only other member of our team, and she is amazing!

Peyton handles dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, and she has a knack for winning over pets of all personalities. Whether your dog wants to play fetch for an hour straight or your cat prefers quiet company and treats, Peyton is happy to meet them where they are.

Paws N’ Claws Pet Services update 🐾✈️

I wanted to give everyone an update as early as possible so you all can plan accordingly! We officially fly out on July 11th and will be heading back to Thessaloniki, Greece for another round of IVF treatment. Depending on how things go, we may potentially be gone through September since there’s a possibility we could try multiple rounds while there.

As many of you know, growing our family has been a very long, emotional journey for us. We had a choice to either stop trying or keep moving forward, and we’ve decided we’re choosing to keep trying and hold onto hope. ❤️

For my clients, I wanted to make sure everyone had all of the information ahead of time! Like last time, please keep in mind there will be a pretty significant time difference while we’re overseas. I absolutely will still be checking messages and staying in contact, but replies may occasionally take a little longer than normal depending on the time of day. While I’m away I’ll still be reachable through Facebook messages, text, email, and Time To Pet. I just won’t be have access to phone calls while we’re out of the country.

Peyton will also continue helping cover services while I’m away. Most of you already know and love Peyton, and I’m incredibly grateful to have someone I trust helping care for your babies while I’m gone. 🐾

I also wanted to be upfront and transparent with everyone: if this IVF journey is successful, due to my medical history and the high-risk nature of a future pregnancy, I unfortunately would not be able to return to work afterward. If treatment is not successful, then I’ll return and things will resume completely as normal.

As of right now, I don’t have an exact return date, but I’ll continue keeping everyone updated as we know more. I know this is a long update, but I truly appreciate every single one of you. You all have supported me not just as a business owner but as a person through some really hard seasons of life, and I’ll never be able to express how much that means to me.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, support, and prayers as we take another leap toward growing our family. 🤍
