⚠️ RED FLAGS TO WATCH FOR:

🐾 Refusing to talk on a call Be cautious if you are not given time to speak with the person about their program.

🐾 Pressuring you to pay. A deposit policy should be clearly explained. Pressure to “send money right now” before you can verify anything is a reason to pause.

🐾 An unbelievable deal. Affordable pricing alone does not mean someone is a scammer, but a surprisingly low price paired with pressure or missing information deserves extra caution.

🐾 Constant excuses or changing details. Pay attention when names, locations, puppy information, or pickup arrangements don’t match.

🐾 Suspicious payment requests. Requests for gift cards, cryptocurrency, or payments with little opportunity to recover your money should raise concern. Check what protection a payment service actually offers before paying.

🐾 No interest in the puppy’s future home. A responsible breeder should welcome your questions and ask about your family, your plans, and your readiness for a puppy.
