It’s my sincere hope this message is received the way I intend it to be. Ever since we opened our kennel in 2018 we have carried a liability insurance policy to protect us as owners and you as customers against all types of injuries.
In return we had to agree not to board certain dog breeds. One of which is a pit bull terrier. I truly recognize that this breed is not always a threat. However, I am bound by my signed agreement with our insurance carrier. If I ignore this agreement and someone gets hurt, I could potentially loose my business. Having said this I hope you will understand if I have to turn you down for boarding your dog who I know is your fur baby.
I salute anyone that adopts this breed or mix of this breed in order to give it a loving home. So many are found in shelters for one reason or another. Hopefully one day people will stop irresponsible breeding of any breed and then dumping them because that dog wasn’t what they expected or decides is too much to handle. Just know that if you do decide to adopt a restricted breed you may not be able to board them easily. Some dogs are a (one owner) breed and doesn’t accept strangers readily.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
