91-95 degrees: Melting in a furry puddle
96+ degrees: Hagrid has become one with the air conditioner and no way will he go sit outside with his parents 😂

We are closed today so that our team can celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. We will be back on Monday from 7:30-5:30, and hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!

Fireworks may be exciting for us, but for our pets they can be terrifying.

The loud booms, bright flashes, and unfamiliar smells can cause dogs and cats to panic, run away, hide, or even injure themselves trying to escape. Every year, animal shelters see an increase in lost pets around the Fourth of July.

Help keep your furry family members safe by:
🐾 Keeping them indoors before fireworks begin.
🐾 Closing windows, blinds, and curtains to reduce noise and flashing lights.
🐾 Playing calming music or turning on the TV, washer/dryer, fans to help mask the sounds.
🐾 Making sure collars fit properly and ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
🐾 Never taking pets to firework displays.

A little preparation can make a big difference in keeping your pets safe, calm, and comfortable this Independence Day. 🐾🐕🐈‍⬛🐾
