Thank you, to all of you, for sharing the posts, sending good thoughts, or donating! We were so happy to hear that took the win and made their goal!!!! Thanks to our generous match donor, and some of our fabulous Newton County Alumni adopters, the goal amount was raised for Squeak's entire list of procedures tomorrow. Now, all that's left is to send this sweet, gentle, giant all the good thoughts for tomorrow. She is having quite a bit of work done, and is going to have some painful and tough recovery days ahead of her. We are so very thankful to Shannon and Hall’s Hopeful Hounds Rescue for giving this girl the chance she deserved. Her owner was so willing to give her up and walk away, and she will never have to live that way again.
When you've got good rescue people on your team, you can change the world. I've said it before and I will say it again; If you want the world run the correct way, give a group of female animal advocates the promise of a large sanctuary that is free to run forever, and we can solve every problem you've ever had with one main group chat, 3 side conversations on messenger, one person responding to facebook comments, and another posting videos to instagram, without breaking a sweat, and still managing to function (sort-of) as a normal human being!
Our village, the shelter staff, and the rescues we trust, are super human, and they inspire us everyday to keep pushing. The dogs may be our why, but they are the reason the magic happens. We are sending so much love and gratitude to you all ❤️
And to Squeak, our sweet and beautiful girl, we wish you a successful surgery day, and a speedy recovery. Your new life starts tomorrow, sweetness! And we know it's gonna be so bright! 💜🩵💜🩵💜🩵💜🩵💜🩵
