When you are a puppy this big, it is imperative to learn manners. At 7 months old and already over 100lbs, Biggie needed help learning that people aren't his personal chew toys, that it's best to greet people with four on the floor and not eye-to-eye, as well as some leash walking skills. He is a smart boy and we know he will catch on quickly. Isn't he too cute?!

What is the most important command to teach your dog? To come when called reliably. If your dog ever unexpectedly gets loose, it could be very dangerous, even life or death.

Always be very happy and animated. Let your dog know that coming to you is the best thing in the world... better than the dog across the street, the kids riding their bikes, or the deer off in the field. Start in your very own backyard and eventually expand to new areas with more distractions.

We LOVE getting updates from dogs that we have worked with. Chop's mom recently texted us this fabulous update:

"Chop was an absolute angel, at daycare drop off today!!!! We used all our new tools that you taught us and he did very well. He also has become very friendly with the Neighbor and the neighbors kids, and the puppy they just adopted! It was like a totally different dog at daycare drop off, such a relief. He’s also been using his snuffle mat at meal times to practice his nose"

Good job to not just Chop, but his family too for putting in the work. You all make an awesome team!
