It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our wonderful clinic cat, Pete.
For nearly eight years, Pete was an important part of our practice—and he did his job exceptionally well. He was there with Dr. Keffer just outside of surgery or during the quiet hours of the night while she cared for hospitalized patients. He joined the team for lunch, offered companionship during busy days, and somehow always seemed to know when someone needed him most.
Sometimes, you would even find Pete sitting beside a client in an exam room as they prepared to receive difficult news. He had a special way of simply being there, offering quiet comfort when words were not enough.
Pete’s favorite place was the front desk, where he could greet everyone who came through our doors and keep a watchful eye on the practice he called home. Over the years, he touched countless lives—clients, patients, and team members alike.
Our practice will not be the same without him, and we will miss him more than words can express. We are so grateful for every year, every head bump, every lunch break, and every comforting moment we shared with him.
Rest peacefully, sweet Pete.
Well done, Pete. Well done. ❤️
