❤️🐾 THE HEART BEHIND THE HEALING 🐾❤️

Not every important moment in veterinary medicine happens under a bright light or beside a lab machine.

Sometimes, it's sitting on the floor with a scared pup.

Sometimes, it's wrapping a nervous kitty in a cozy blanket.

Sometimes, it's offering one more treat, whispering a few reassuring words, or giving extra cuddles when a patient needs them most.

Our veterinary technicians do so much more than help pets get better. They help pets feel safe, and they help their people feel a little less worried, too.

That kind of compassion can't be measured on a chart, but it makes all the difference. 🥹

To our amazing AMVS technicians: thank you for loving our patients like they're your own. We're so lucky to have you!

👇 CLIENT CHALLENGE: Share a picture of your pet enjoying some love and cuddles in the comments. We could all use a little extra cuteness today! 📸🐶🐱

📋 JOB DESCRIPTION: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Qualifications include:

🐾 Professional treat dispenser
🐾 Expert at speaking fluent dog AND cat
🐾 Part-time detective (Who ate the sock?)
🐾 Blood sample collector
🐾 Master of the emergency potty break
🐾 Nervous-pet whisperer

Must be able to answer the phone, run lab work, comfort a worried pet parent, and remember where someone put the thermometer… all within approximately 37 seconds. 😂

Okay, we may have exaggerated slightly… but veterinary technicians really do wear a LOT of hats!

This week, we're celebrating the knowledge, skill, patience, and compassion our AMVS techs bring to work every single day. ❤️

👇 YOUR TURN: What's the most impressive thing you've ever watched a veterinary professional do? Or what do you think is the hardest part of their job?

🦸‍♀️🐾 NOT ALL SUPERHEROES WEAR CAPES… SOME WEAR SCRUBS! 🐾🦸‍♂️

It's Veterinary Technician Week, and we're celebrating the amazing humans who help keep our four-legged family members healthy, happy, and loved!

Our vet techs are part nurse, part detective, part personal trainer (have you ever tried to convince a 90-pound dog to step on a scale? 😂), and 100% dedicated to their patients.

They comfort the nervous, celebrate the recovering, and somehow manage to get things done even when the clinic is buzzing with activity.

Help us give our AMVS veterinary technicians a BIG round of applause! ❤️

👇 CLIENT CHALLENGE: If one of our technicians has made a difference for you and your pet, drop their name in the comments and tell us why they're your hero!

Thank you to everyone who played along with our AMVS Spirit Week! We loved seeing all of your comments and photos!

🎉🐾 WE MADE IT TO FRIDAY! 🐾🎉

It's the FINAL DAY of AMVS Spirit Week, and we're celebrating the best part of our jobs…

THE ANIMALS! ❤️

Today we want to know:

👉 What is something your pet does that deserves to be celebrated?

Maybe they finally stopped stealing socks. 🧦

Maybe they learned a new trick. 🐾

Maybe they survived another birthday without acting their age. 😂

Maybe they simply make every day a little better. ❤️

Tell us what YOU are celebrating about your pet!

And thank you for joining us for AMVS Spirit Week! 🥳

🎬🐾 LIGHTS, CAMERA, PAWS! 🐾🎬

It's MOVIE & TV CHARACTER DAY at AMVS!

Our team is stepping into character, which got us wondering…

If your pet starred in a movie, what would the movie be called? 🍿

Would it be:

🎬 The Fast & the Furriest
🎬 Mission: Impawsible
🎬 Jurassic Bark
🎬 The Treat Games
🎬 Lord of the Treats

Or would your pet create something completely original?

Give us your pet's movie title in the comments below! 😹👇

🐾 Dachshund — Excavation Specialist
🦜 Parrot — Customer Service Representative
😴 Bulldog — Professional Napper

Tell us your pet's dream career! 👇

🐾 SPIRIT WEEK HAS BEGUN! 🐾

We're kicking off AMVS Spirit Week with “If I Were a Pet…” day!

Our team is showing off their favorite animals, but now we want to hear about YOUR pets! ❤️

If you could trade places with your pet for 24 hours, what would you do?

Would you…

😴 Sleep all day?
🍖 Eat whenever you wanted?
🛋️ Claim the comfiest spot in the house?
🐿️ Chase squirrels?
👑 Demand to be treated like royalty?

Tell us what YOUR pet would have you doing if you switched places for the day!
