Happy Fourth of July from Honey Tree Stables. 🇺🇸

Since 1964, Honey Tree has been more than a farm. It has been a home, a legacy, and a sanctuary for animals and people.

It is a place where horses come first, where people are treated with dignity, and where honor, integrity, loyalty, perseverance, respect, and love are not simply words—they are standards we choose to live by.

We believe real strength is shown in what we protect. It means standing up for those who need support, treating others as we would want to be treated, and caring for the animals, people, land, and traditions entrusted to us.

Honey Tree Stables will continue to be protected, honored, and respected. What began here in 1964 will be carried forward with purpose, responsibility, and gratitude for generations to come.

Today, we celebrate freedom—and the character required to preserve the things that matter most.

It means standards.

Calm matters. Care matters. Forage, turnout, soundness, routine, and management discipline are not background details. They are part of the product.

At Honey Tree, the goal is not volume. The goal is fit, trust, development, and care that holds up under daily scrutiny.

Standards protect horses. They also protect the people entrusted with them.

Very few programs can truly connect the farm, the horse, the rider, and the competitive result.

Honey Tree is built around one operating system: land, turnout, daily care, training, riding, competition, and long-term matching.

That depth matters.

It creates continuity. It creates accountability. It limits the gaps that appear when care, development, and competition are separated from one another.

Full vertical integration is difficult. That is why it matters.

Today we celebrate Ishmael, 30 years young.

It is hard to put into words what this horse has meant to me, my farm, my family, and the foundation of everything we have built. Ishmael is not just a stallion. He is heritage. He is legacy. He is one of those rare souls who comes into your life and quietly, powerfully, changes the course of it forever.

Since the day our paths crossed, I have been better because of him. He has given me more than I could ever properly thank him for: unforgettable moments, lessons, strength, joy, and generation after generation of incredible horses who carry his stamp, his presence, his heart, and his athletic brilliance. So many big, beautiful babies have come into this world because of him, each one carrying a piece of who he is.

He has left a mark not only on my farm, but on the lives of the people and horses connected to him. His influence is woven into the bloodlines, the memories, the stories, the wins, the quiet barn moments, and the future still unfolding.

Ishmael is everything you hope a stallion will be: powerful, kind, intelligent, athletic, full of presence, and somehow still sparkling with that perfect magic that makes him completely himself.

While he is very much here with us today, I already know his legacy is something that will live far beyond any one lifetime. He is part of our foundation, part of our family, and part of the heartbeat of this farm.

Happy 30th birthday, Ishmael. Thank you for what you have given, what you continue to give, and for being the most perfect stallion a girl could ever ask for. You are loved beyond words, and your mark on this world is forever. ✨
