Birdie’s first hike!! 🌳

Birdie started training to work through some reactive behaviors, and her and her mom have been loving the process and learning together. When her mom asked to start working on hiking skills too, of course we said yes!!

We love helping dogs and their people enjoy life together and build the confidence for new adventures ⭐️

Days spent with puppies are always the best days 🤩🐾

Did you know we evaluate litters to help place each puppy in the home that fits them best? We do!

Around 7 weeks old, we use the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test (PAT) to learn more about each puppy’s temperament, personality, confidence level, and overall disposition — helping breeders and families make the best possible match.

As always, it was such a pleasure evaluating this sweet litter for Three Lakes Labradors! We can’t wait to watch these puppies thrive in their new homes ⭐️

Boone is only a few weeks in and already crushing it! 🤩

A few of his new skills:

A few weeks ago, passing another dog on leash felt overwhelming for Birdie and her owner.

Now, after just four private sessions, that has changed! She can walk by calmly, stay neutral, and even stand right next to another dog without reacting.

It’s been so fun watching their confidence continue to grow! 🪴

Big things are happening at Mangum K9!

We’ve officially moved to a brand-new location with 17 acres for dogs to run, explore, and just be dogs — and we couldn’t be more excited.

We’ve also got new day camp days and times coming soon, plus a few scheduling updates:
• Private sessions are currently fully booked for pre-booking
• Board & trains are booked through mid-August
• Day camp + boarding availability is open — message us for openings!

We’re so grateful to keep growing and serving you and your pups. Stay tuned… there’s more to come.

🏆 Daycamp Dog of the Month: Wendy

When Wendy first came to us, she was just a little pup. Hard to believe that was over 3 years ago!

Now? She’s thriving! Wendy is on- and off-leash trained, a dream in public, and one of the easiest-going dogs we have. 🐾

She comes to daycamp a couple times a month to see her friends and stretch her legs. The rest of the time, she’s a full-time good girl and professional napper! 💤
