One of the many benefits of adopting from a foster-based rescue is that the kittens have already had the chance to learn how to be part of a family.

These little ones came to us spicy, scared, and unsure of people. Through weeks of patience, socialization, and lots of love in their foster home, they've transformed into sweet, affectionate kittens who enjoy attention and are ready for homes of their own.

Because foster families live with the animals every day, we get to know their personalities, habits, and needs. That means adopters have a better idea of which kitten will be the best fit for their family.

A little bit ago we shared a video of these same two kittens, where we weren't even able to open the door to feed them without risking our fingers 🤭

They still run to the door, not to attack, but because they look forward to being petted and loved.

Watching spicy kittens turn into sweethearts is one of the most rewarding parts of rescue. ❤️

Stop by Pet Supplies Plus in Willow Street and Meet Maple 🍁

Maple is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find a family of her own.

This sweet girl loves attention and isn't shy about asking for it—she's quite vocal and enjoys chatting with her people. Maple has a loving personality and is happiest when she's getting affection.

Maple's story is a sad one. She was found in the woods with a tote while she was lactating. We searched extensively for kittens but never found any, leading us to believe she may have been abandoned without them.

She seems to ignore dogs and does well around them, but she can be a little slow to warm up to other cats and will need proper introductions. Maple is also a bit of an escape artist, so her future family will need to be mindful when opening doors and make sure she stays safely indoors.

If you're looking for a sweet, talkative companion with lots of love to give, Maple may be the perfect match. ❤️🐾

✨ Happy Tails for Priscilla ✨

Priscilla came to our rescue after a kindhearted person had been feeding her as a stray. With an upcoming move, they were terrified to leave her behind, especially after repeated threats from neighbors and signs that someone may have already harmed her.
From the moment she arrived, Priscilla proved what a special girl she is. Gentle, laid-back, affectionate, and grateful for every bit of kindness, she quickly stole the hearts of everyone she met.

Today, we’re thrilled to share that Priscilla has found a family of her very own. ❤️ No more wondering where her next meal will come from. No more living in fear. Just a safe home, people who love her, and the future she always deserved.

Thank you to everyone who helped make her happy ending possible. Stories like Priscilla’s remind us why rescue matters.

Wally has been adopted! 🥳🥳

A kind gentleman who had been following Wally’s updates, reached out after his very first post. He patiently waited while Wally got healthy, gained confidence, and learned that people could be trusted again.

We all watched Wally transform from a terrified, shut down cat into one who could relax, play, and come out of his shell. And now he gets the happy ending he deserves.

We know with absolute certainty that Wally will have the absolute best life with his new dad and we couldn't be happier ❤️

Thank you to everyone who followed his journey, cheered him on, shared his posts, and believed in him. We can’t wait to see Wally thrive in his forever home. 🐾

Once again, Oxfurrd Pet Spa worked absolute magic! 🤩

Talia arrived looking less like a poodle and more like a walking dust mop. After years of life as a breeding dog and one seriously overdue spa day, this sweet girl got the full glow-up she deserved. Just look at that transformation! 😍

Lately, I’ve had several dogs surrendered from Amish breeding farms, and keeping up with the mountains of matted fur has been overwhelming. When I reached out to Jamie for help, she squeezed in not one, but TWO rescue pups the very next day. (Stay tuned for the second makeover because it’s another good one! 👀)

Talia is a 5-year-old purebred Poodle whose puppy-producing days are officially behind her. She is fully vetted, spayed, freshly pampered, and ready to start the next chapter of her life as a cherished family pet.

Talia is a gentle, timid, and incredibly sweet girl. She’s still learning that people can be kind and that life isn’t all about making puppies, so she’s adjusting at her own pace. She is wonderful with other dogs, good with children, and has a very submissive, easygoing personality.
