Scott Walker and I are SO EXCITED to share our news... when we sold our herd of Full Blood Boers last year we had a few embryos left. With the assistance of Brent Moore and Meggan Freeland Moore we implanted our embryos. We only had one recip take from the embryos being implanted and we have one embryo from Brent and Meggans beautiful herd. The kids hit the ground this past weekend. Let us introduce you to Red Barn Farm The Boss out of our doe Red Barn Farm Sassy and Show Me Boers Bootlegger currently owned by Trevor and Maddie Clemens.
And Red Barn Farm Chocolate Thunder --- this bucks mama is RMA2 Cut the Cuteness owned by Brent and Meggan Moore.

We want to thank Brent and Meggan for all their generosity and friendship!! ❤ love you guys!!!

After we sold our herd we really didn't know if we would ever have goats again but as time passed we sure missed having them!! We missed the time spent in the barn, their personalities and all the things we did with them. We really feel blessed with these buck kids and look forward to watching them grow.

Scott Walker and I have made the decision to disperse our herd. It was time to close the Boer Goat chapter of our lives. We have had an amazing 16+ years... we have made life long friends, made special memories along the way and enjoyed all our goaties. This is not the end of having livestock... so stay tuned. We will continue to judge goats when we are invited. Our herd is sold, they all went to the same farm. We wish the new owners great success! See ya'll down the road...

Pumpkin Spice is show correct, bite good, pigment 90%, teats 1 x 1 with kicker on one side. She is powerful but still is feminine. We love this doe but wanted to offer you all a good one. We are keeping her flushmate sister and brother and her mom.
She is at the farm here in Owosso, Michigan. Buyer responsible for transportation.

Scott and I had such a fun weekend in Traverse City at the Northern Nights ABGA show! First we would like to thank Robin Gildner, Chad Gildner and all the people behind the scenes that helped put on four great shows! Traverse City fairgrounds are so nice. Red Barn Farm brought home some ribbons and beautiful plaques.
Red Barn Farm Ellie took Overall Grand Champion Fullblood doe under Judge Lane Reigle. She was Yearling Champion under Judge Kent Davidson and Judge Sherri Innman Stephens.
Red Barn Farm Elsa was Overall Grand Champion Fullblood Doe under Judge Kent Davidson and Senior Division Reserve Champion under Judge Tate.
Red Barn Farm Top Shelf took Overall Grand Champion Buck and Yearling Division Champion under Judge Kent Davidson and Judge Sherri Innman Stephens.
Red Barn Farm Guy Jr Division Reserve under Judge Kent Davidson.

We really enjoyed visiting with all our friends and meeting several new breeders! After our first two shows Scott and I enjoyed a bit of Traverse City... we ran into Groot and had to get a pic with him. Lol. Stuck our feet in the beautiful bay waters. Such a beautiful fall day, the leaves are just starting to turn.
A very special thanks to our sister Laurie Walker for taking care of the farm and pup Lilly so we could be at the show.

Red Barn Farm has had a successful show at the Michigan State Fair! Red Barn Farm Elsa Grand Champion Full Blood Doe and Overall Champion Meat Doe -- she will compete for best animal at the fair... what an honor to represent the meat goats for the 2023 Michigan State Fair. Red Barn Farm Top Shelf was Overall Grand Champion Buck. Red Barn Farm Ellie won her class and was division reserve.
It was so great to have Taylor Marie, Michael McPhee and Laurie Walker at the show today to help Scott Walker.
I was unable to attend, I came down with a nasty bug this past week. I was very bummed I missed all the fun....
